I had to return this. it is way to pricey. also very light. guess im old school, I like a little weight with something that has a price tag like this.

Bought the items on line and picked up in store. Cannot get receipt and claimed sticker on package is receipt. As i insisted, print out receipt with wrong value 10 times less than paid. Cannot believe it is happening for Best Buy. Even much smaller vendors on internet can provide formal invoices.

This Camcorder is very, very unstable, confusing, and limited to do live streaming. Also, the "4K" for video record is not at all 4k. Go forth Sony if you really want to play safe.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAMERA, I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY THAT I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT. I AM A YOUTUBE TECH REVIEWER, SO I DO TECH REVIEWS OF PRODUCTS LIKE THIS QUITE FREQUENTLY. THE ONLY THING THAT I AM NOT 100% SOLD ON WITH THIS CAMCORDER IS THE REMOVABLE HOT SHOE MOUNT OR COLD SHOE MOUNT DEPENDING ON WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO. IT'S A NICE FEATURE BUT I AM JUST NOT SOLD ON IT. THE TOUCH SCREEN CAN BE A LITTLE TRICKY TOO, YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT A NICE FIRM TOUCH MOST TIMES IN ORDER FOR IT TO REGISTER YOUR TOUCH. THE BUILD QUALITY IS GREAT, THE SOUND QUALITY IS EXCELLENT ALSO. THE VIDEO QUALITY IS RIDICULOUS, 4K LOOKS LIKE MOVIE THEATRE QUALITY. I USE THIS CAMCORDER TO RECORD ALL OF MY YOUTUBE REVIEWS AND IT JUST DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. NIGHT VISION MODE IS AWESOME AS WELL, I DON'T USE THAT MODE TO OFTEN BUT I DID TRY IT OUT AND IT LOOKS STUNNING. MANY RECORDING OPTIONS & LITTLE FEATURES IN THIS CAMCORDER JUST MAKE THIS CAM STICK OUT. THE LIGHT THAT YOU CAN USE DURING RECORDING ISN'T THAT GREAT, IT'S NOT GONNA BRIGHTEN UP ACROSS THE ROOM BUT YOU COULD GET 2 TO 3 FT. IN FRONT OF YOU. THE MENU IS EASY TO NAVIGATE THROUGH MINUS THE TOUCH SCREEN NOT BEING SENSITIVE ENOUGH. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER TO HAVE AN OPTION TO INCREASE & DECREASE THE SCREEN SENSITIVITY.

Video resolution and quality are unreal considering how cheap this camera is compared to others. I use an external mic that is easy to setup and just plugs in. Great camera. Menu buttons would be nice but touch screen works fine as is

Purchased this for a birthday party. Video and sound came out great and the battery lasted 3 + hours!!!

Its a great camera, aesthetically all great! But when I turned it on for the first time (with separate charger and batteries I had to purchase btw because it didn't came with ones) it was stuck out of focus and made some clicking noises as it tried to focus, then just a warning to shut it down. Had happened to me before in other handycams so I literally had to hit it a few times and now it works! Sucks though

Recording in 4K mode, this camera will error after recording more than 9 min using a 512 GB SD card (or higher I'm assuming). "ERROR OCCURRED, PLEASE TURN UNIT OFF, THEN TURN ON AGAIN". Upon restart "Repairing Data...Finished", then recorded file broken "CANNOT PLAY THIS SCENE ON THIS MODEL". Tried using both a formatted legit SanDisk Extreme Pro 512 GB and SanDisk Extreme 512 GB with same issue. No issues experienced with a SanDisk Extreme Plus 128 GB card, other than running out of memory mid video. Very disappointing that a 4K camcorder putting out 4-10 GB per video, doesn't support higher storge cards. Now I have to spend $60 on video recovery software to salvage my video.
