Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the ease of use, excellent sound quality, and convenient caller ID features as significant advantages. Many also appreciate the phone's range, long battery life, and clear display. While some users noted minor issues with static and the lack of a message indicator light, the positive feedback overwhelmingly outweighs the negative. The system's answering machine and lightweight design also receive praise.

    Great cordless range and sound

Retired from Verizon, consult for at&t. Panasonic has the least field repairs, best range, and better sound than Unisonic, VTEC, AT&T cordless phones. Best Buy would not meet lower price at COSTCO, but purchased at BB because of fast service and shorter cash register line. This cordless system uses easier to find and less costly NI-MH AA batteries if you need to buy replacements. Additional handsets can also be used to power system to keep it working when there is a electrical outage. Has lighted easy to see keypad and LCD screen, speaker phone, talking caller ID, and large speed dial memory. Given as a gift to my 85 year old mother and she loves it because it's easy to use(not a techie).

I really like these phones, they have a long range, great reception, been the best phone i have purchased in a long time. i wear hearing aides and they are great for those, the sound is very clear, on both ends, the people i talk to cannot even tell I am on speaker phone or using my hearing device that transmits to the phone, either way is super clear sound. I can also go outside and still be able to talk on the phone without static or any issues.

I live in a household where we have two phone lines. I purchased this particular one for myself. I love the color and the phone is easy to use. I love that the base with the answering machine is small and that you can turn off the answering machine. I went in search of a talking caller ID phone and this phone offers that. The quality is very clear. I have always purchased Panasonic phones and they last forever. Only reason I replaced the ones I had is because I just moved into a newly built house and I wanted new phones too!

This phone system works great. Easy to set up and use. Answering machine works well. The caller ID allows the phone to verbalize who is calling. I would recommend this phone system to anyone who is interested in multiple phones.

These phones are great, good clear sound, good battery uptime and excellent range. The 60 number call block has helped weed out a lot of the political call we were receiving which is a "HUGE plus.

This is a nice product. The handsets are nice looking and compact. The footprint is small for the answering machine so it doesn't hog up space. Call quality is excellent and speaker volume is also excellent. Extremely easy to setup and use. They also use regular rechargeable batteries not the weird bat packs with a cord and a modular jack. When the batteries die, I know I'll be able to get new ones just about anywhere which I consider somewhat significant. The only downside is the audible caller ID isn't very easy to understand. It sounds very robotic like text translation from the 1980's. All in all, very good.

I selected this based on cost ÷ number of handsets. We have no cell phone signal in our house for some reason and had to get a landline. The sound quality is average and the range away from the base is adequate, as I can go to the garage and keep connection. It has a number of options including answering machine and phone directory groups. I haven't used these features as I don't need then at this time. Over all it does the job I need it to. It could be better sound quality, but I don't use it a lot so it's not a problem. Improved sound would get 5 stars from me.

This phone system was purchased for an older couple who needed a new phone. The large letters on the display are very easy to read. The phone is fairly easy to set up and the sound quality is clear and crisp. They have had the unit several months and are very happy with it. The aural notification system is especially helpful when screening calls.

I bought the Panasonic KX-TGD223 for my parents because of its large display and easily readable call info. Using the manual it was easy to set up (date/time, answering mach, v-mail, etc). Only issue is the ring-count before calls rollover to answering mach (or vmail) -- even when I set for 7 rings, answering mach (or vmail) goes on at 4 rings. Other than this minor issue, we're satisfied with this phone/answering system

After having Comcast voice installed in my home, I wanted to upgrade my older answering machine and cordless phones. I checked the reviews closely and settled on this Panasonic set. I am happy with the purchase. The handsets have a nice clear sound and easy to read display. They also look nice.

I have had the phone system for a while now and it has been working great for me. I can play back messages from any of the phone so I don't always have to go to the base station. The caller ID announcer feature is pretty useful when it work, it kind of iffy. Phone calls are crystal clear and all the phones work in anywhere in the house with no dead spots. All in all its a really good phone for the price.

The phone is great big buttons, big bright display, talking caller ID. The answering device on the other hand needs work. It is complicated to use and you can't delete individual messages. It's all or none. Who thought that was a good idea. These used to be my favorite phones and I still love the phone, but the answering device needs to be addressed, earlier Panasonic cordless phones had great answering devices.

Nice phones, excellent sound quality and good reception a fair distance away from the bases. That's what matters most to me. Lots of features if you choose to use them. The only downside is the voice that you can set to tell you who is calling. It's a bit muddy sounding, and most of the time it's unintelligible. Everything else about the phone set is outstanding.

Phone is great. 3200 square foot house with three levels. Great reception and clear calls. Easy to use. For the price, this is better than the rest. Don't hesitate with all the choices, buy this one.

I've had a Panasonic phone before, and liked it very much. This time I bought the 3 phone system, one for each floor in my house. I no longer need to carry the handset around with me. The features are easy to use, and voices are very clear, If you want a land line phone system, I would highly recommend this system.

Good phones, but the color is misleading

    Posted .

I got a different color of these phones for a family member last year and loved the talking caller id, battery life, and durability. I got this champagne color for myself because it looks great in the pictures. You'll notice that none of the pictures show the back of the phones. That's because only the very front surfaces are the pretty champagne gold color. The back and every other surface is boring, dull, unfinished white. If you look closely at the bottom half of the base stations in the pictures, you'll see that they are mostly white as well. I like the phones enough to keep them, but these colors do not go together and the phones are pretty ugly as a whole, so beware.

I am very pleased with these phones over others I have tried. They keep their charge for a couple of days as well as never fading in or out. Each phone is very sleek, light weight and slim. They are really perfect for a handicapped member of the family!
