Has some nice features- call block, etc. My main problem with the phones is poor sound quality. The phones frequently have an echo and sound all the time is somewhat garbled. Panasonic help line blames sound on phone provider, but my old cordless phone worked find on this line, and an old wire phone I have plugged in also does not have the problem. This tells me that problem is with Panasonic, which they will not admit.

We have the 4 phones at opposite ends of the house, all work well. The cell phone link in option has been working well too. I use a blue tooth headset with the base unit all the time

If you use the speakerphone feature of this phone, you need to eliminate any other noise in the room you are in. Even casual conversation of others or tv noise will prevent you from hearing through the handset or through the speakerphone. My previous phone was a Panasonic & had great volume through both. Also there isn't a way to delete just a single message on the answering machine part of the phone, it's either all or none. If this is an example of Panasonics new products then I'm looking for something else.

We are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience. The KX-TGF574S does have the ability to erase a single message and regarding the volume, the handset or base unit volume can be increased by pressing the Volume Up Arrow while speaking on the handset or base unit. Panasonic has lots of support content for the KX-TG57x series Telephone at http://bit.ly/2QfdlGr

We've had an older model for years. They look shopworn and the batteries need to be replaced, so it was time for a new system. These perform exactly the same as the old ones, with a few useful features added (e.g., a call block button without having to dig through the menu). I added the optional call extender a while back, and with it we have great connectivity all over our 1/2 acre lot and across the street. Like most new technology it has more features than we care to use, but we were pleased with the old one and this one is just a little better. I did take the two best old phones and register them to the base, so we have a six-phone system.
