Excellent Camera
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a production company and purchased this camera because I needed an extra camera for a music video I was going to film that same day. I didn't realize what I was buying until I started filming scenes with it. The stabilization this camera has is outstanding. My handheld shots look better than ever. I like the Cinelike D profile a lot, the 4k looks legit and the 12-60mm lens it comes with looks great as well(or at least way better than what I expected). Overall, I would say this camera is definitely worth the money you'd spend on it and it's a great camera for beginners, alike for seasoned professionals. I highly recommend it.

This camera is AWESOME!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have wanted this camera for more than a year. I use this camera along with my Panasonic G7 to shoot YouTube videos for my channel "Cooking with Glen". I can say it was well worth the wait, what you get in this camera is more bang for the buck than what you get from other brands. The 4k is great and the I.B.I.S. is amazing. The only downfall to this camera and just about all Panasonic cameras is the auto focus is not great.

Feature packed, but cheap feeling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this camera after reading and viewing many positive reviews. It certainly is feature packed for the price point - IBIS, weather sealing, 4k video and still modes, built in flash, built in interval shooting, internal flash, etc. The main reason I returned it was because the body felt cheap and plasticky. It certainly did not feel as stout as the Sonys, Olympuses (?) and Fuji cameras in and around the same price point. Although it is weather sealed, I really wondered if it would stand up to my frequent trips to the beach and trails. Also, while the video was fantastic, the pics were so-so. I believe they'd be much better with a better lens, but I didn't feel like spending another $1k for a MFTs 2.8. I may return to the brand, though, after the GH5 is released.

Great Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dope camera, I had it for like 2months now & mainly use it for video content which I feel it excels yet its also good for pictures. If your focus is more towards video this is a must have I shoot everything in the Cinelike D profile with the settings adjusted to my taste + 4k at 24fps and it never lets me down good in any situation. I also use with the Zhiyun Crane that + the Built in Stabilizing of the camera + stabilizing in Final Cut or Adobe will get you some super high quality footage at a good budget if you execute properly and dial in on the settings I use this along side my GH5 and its neck to neck with the GH5 will never sale this camera

Terrific Camera But...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Panasonic G85 is a terrific camera! It has wonderful video quality, incredible stabilization and great form factor! I would have been completely satisfied if I didn't need to rely on Auto-Focus for vlogging... The AF is the one thing the G85 does a bad job at. Even with the face detection on, it strayed from my face and focused on something in the background for a half a second and then came back to me. This is why I ultimately sold the Panasonic and bought a Sony A6400. If you're doing manual focus, this camera is perfect! If you need to rely on Auto-Focus like myself, go for the A6400! It has the fastest and best technology right now on the market. I would also suggest the Canon M50 if you're on a budget and the $999 price tag of the Sony is too much.

Nice lightweight camera for beginners
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been online looking at a camera to purchase since I felt it was time to finally have one and there were a couple on my list. This one stood out for the price and all the features it had in comparison to higher end models. I've taken it to a few of my gigs and it has handled the job very well. I really like how it captures light and the build quality. If you don't mind starting with lower pixels than a few camera of the same price range, I think this is a great bang for your buck with all the tech packed into such a small package.

Takes awesome image quality and stabilization.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great camera, super happy with my purchase. Only problem is the auto focus in low light while taking video. Pictures are beautiful and the 4k is sharp. Lots of features and the function buttons are an added bonus.

Excellent camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is surprisingly good considering it is in the lower price spectrum of micro 4/3 cameras. It produces excellent picture and video quality. This Panasonic does everything I need, and it does it well.

Excellent Mid level mirrorless camera
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very good choice and a good value with current pricing. If you want to venture into some movie and image capture at the next level, this is a great choice and even the supplied "kit lens" is very good. Much better image quality than the similarly priced Cannon M50. Nice stabilization and amazing features. Definitely needs a good read/familiarization with the manual/videos to get to know all it can do.

Great camera
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned the camera for a few months and it's fantastic. I was looking at more expensive options, but someone that takes professional photos told me to go with this one, I wouldn't be disappointed. While most more expensive cameras have some flashy cool features, at the end of the day, this camera takes pictures just as nice. No gimmicky features needed.
