I primarily shoot video and occasionally photos. I moved from canon to micro four thirds and have not looked back - starting with the GH4. The GH5 upgrade was COMPLETELY worth it. Primarily, the stabilization was enough to justify, but with 4K 60fps, it’s over the top. Crisp and sharp all while being compact and unobtrusive

I love this camera. The 4k video it produced is smaller than the Panasonic G85. This camera not only taken great video and have full HDMI output but it takes great picture as well. I missed the built in flash but I bought it for video not photography,

This is my fav camera setup, i use it with the sigma 18-35mm with a speedbooster. I use it for my youtube videos a lot and pair it up with some good hand grip with the battery pack & you will never get disappointed again. I will keep this system for ever until it dies upon me :).

I purchased this camera to upgrade from my g7. I use it for music videos sports and action sports, and this thing shines everytime the variable frame rates it has is mind blowing completely smooth slow mo.. I would definitely recommend if it fits your budget even if it doesn’t save up lol

Great camera for freelance videographers, youtubers, or any one that wants to create great quality content! I’ve done some documentary work with the GH5 before, and it’s a really versatile camera. Highly recommend it!

Thinking about a canon? or a nikon? or a sony? you're thinking wrong. Nothing touches this camera. Actually thats partially my preferences, but I've owned and used all the others and the gh5 is in a realm of its own for value and photo+video performance. LOVE

The largest of the mirrorless cameras, the GH5 gives you the feel of the larger DSLRs with the lighter weight of the mirrorless cameras. The 4k video is great. Very life like. The 6k Photo yields great stills. Having had the GH4, this was a great upgrade.

The GH5 with the right lenses can produce some spectacular results. The 4k @60 fps is great for surfing and extracting an 8mp still frame grab. Overall, I am very happy that I purchased this camera and can't wait to test it further the next few years.

If you want to shoot video and also great photos there is no better deal for the money. Overall best product with blue ray quality! highly recommended.

A great camera, and for video, probably the best there is in its class. I switched over to it from the Canon Vixia 4K, and never looked back.

I have had my Panasonic GH5 for a year and a half and it Produces by far and away the best footage I have ever had. I’ve also owned 4-5 other cameras and love what it can produce for the price

Im a Canon guy, but WOWWWWW GH 5 is my new favorite toy. ISO is not that bad, and auto focus once you update the software... problem solve. For the price, you are getting a monster.

I use this camera every weekend to shoot various events and it has never let me down. 4K 60p internal recording is really nice to be able to slow it down in post!

That’s all I need it for what I do, and has the WiFi capability and 4K and everything. My personal opinion is that this is the best at that range of money period.

I use this for both video and stills, it does everything I need and more! Excellent purchase, well worth the money.

I like the camera because of its variable framerates and good image stabilization. It works really well with a Metabones Soeedboster.

The GH5 is my number one choice for video production. Can’t find any other camera packed with this many features at this price point

As a Gh4 user, I love to be able to use my old batteries, the dual slot and all the new features on the GH5 this was an awesome upgrade!!!

great camera but you really need to read up on how to use it as it is a big switch from a canon or a nikon. It's not a starter camera and v-log takes proper exposure to produce a quality shot but with work it'll be a great tool to have.

One of the best camera's for the price for video, with the right combo of lenses and adapters it can hold its own for photo too
