The special features that set the GH6 apart are the compact size and weight of the lenses and the reasonable prices for the extremely premium lenses. The 25mp GH6 is biased towards professional videography but gives up little or nothing for still photographers. The 12-60mm f2.8~4 Leica DG zoom lens is simply my favorite lens ever.

Lot to Love with the Newest GH6! With minor Quirks

Some people may have their polarizing opinions regarding the sensor size being a Micro 4/3 but, even in todays format, is still extremely useable! You'd be surprised by its Photo capability even though this is typically advertised as a video centric camera! Its too early to say as I've had the camera for a short amount of time BUT this will be a camera, like its other predecessors, that will have plenty of use waaaay beyond its shelf life! 4.8 out of 5 stars! Truly, close to a perfect camera and the long awaited king has returned! P.S. Panasonic, if you ever read this, put this same new sensor into a box form factor and add Phase Detection to it and it will be GAME OVER for the competitors!!!

My first 4/3 and mirrorless camera.

Getting used to the viewfinder of a mirrorless camera is a work in progress, especially when it comes to the white balance, but I see that as a learning curve for me and not an item to downrate the camera.
