The filter in this are much better than other cameras. I think this is affordable alternative for Fujifilm x100iv.

In for course of my work, I've used and worn out many digital cameras. We usually buy the Olympus EM-10. They usually need repairs after about 6 months of use, with the built in flash and lens aperture failing frequently. So I opted to try this Panasonic to see if it would be more durable. I've had this camera about 9 months now. Picture quality is excellent. The 12-32mm kit lens has been holding up well. The flash burned out a couple months ago, but Panasonic fixed it without issue. Ergonomics of the Olympus are a little. The electronic viewfinder on the Olympus is better than on this Panasonic. But I rarely use the EVF anyway. One negative I've noticed about this Panasonic is that it eats batteries. I carry three batteries with me each day, and sometimes use them all. But to be fair, I shoot between 500 and 1000 pictures a day. If not for how many repairs we've had on the Olympus EM-10s, I'd recommend them over this Panasonic because of their better ergonomics and EVF. But the differences are minor, and this Panasonic has been a little more reliable. We'll see how fairs after a few more months.

The camera has many options, which is a good thing but there is also a lot to learn/remember. It takes excellent photos and I appreciate the WiFi ability. The phone app has lots of cool features, too.

The build quality is great. The picture quality is great. The video is alright. Battery is not so good. It’s a good camera. Great for the price but if you can afford to drop a couple hundred more, you can get better.

The Panasonic Lumix line is one of the best, bar none. However, I did not notice this camera has no microphone jack, so I had to return it. I was doing video and needed to plug in the lavilier mic I was using, and could not.

One of the best investments. Have been photographing my family for the past 2 years and love the quality and outcome.

This is a great choice for travel photography/videography with 4k and no record limit! The micro 4/3 system makes everything much lighter

I wanted to upgrade from an iPhone and compact 10x zoom cameras. Reviewed and considered several types of cameras from mega zoom to basic DLSR's. This Panasonic GX85 is nice compromise of size and quality. Not too bad to lug around and simple to use. Changing lenses is easy. I purchased the 28mm primary lens also to take better portraits when desired. Am happy with overall purchase.

Purchased for son's wedding weekend. Captured many great shots. This mirrorless camera took care of my desire for a light camera with point and shoot capabilities that functions like a single lens reflex. Can't wait to take my first class to learn other features to the camera. Great growth potential for the future. It helps that I saved $400 and received two lens in the purchase.

Well, so far is nice camera it is very convenient for me to carry & wifey love it. WE STILL FIGURE OUT how to operate some Features.

Great Camera! The lens kit is perfect for travel as it covers most of the general ranges your would want. I am a beginner and am still learning this camera but when you get an understanding of the settings, the raw images are amazing.

Brilliant Camera for everyday use with great battery performance

If you are new to the world of mirrorless cameras, this is a great way to get your feet wet. The only glaring weakness is the lack of ability to add an microphone.
