As a fulltime beard wearer (not the "hipster" type", my last Conair trimmer died. It was good, lasted a good many years. But I decided to upgrade. This thing has all the bells and whistles. Great for trimming the neck line with pinpoint precision! This thing can shave the hair off a gnats behind!! I’m very impressed. The only drawback I can come up with is that my previous Conair had a nice “docking” station, to sit in. kind of keeps things tidy in the bathroom. But, luckily for me. When the Panasonic trimmer is not charging. It fits well in my old Conair docking station. Cleans up nice. You can just run it under water to clean off the hairs. It even says so on the packaging it’s safe for water cleaning. I would recommend this for anyone who wears a beard and trims it occasionally, so you don’t look like a hipster. Just a guy with a nice beard that doesn’t get out of control.

Battery would only hold a short charge and the blade pulled more than cut.

I can’t suggest it. It’s snags when cutting and is simply an inferior product. I wish I could return the beard trimmer.

Not a good trimmer. Not worth for cost and the trimmer doesn’t do the job properly

This trimmer pulls hair out. I have used it on my face and head and same results, hair being pulled not cut. Its painful to use. Panasonic has been terrible to deal with too.

Trimmer spaces are way too wide. Not tight like a good cheap $20 wahl or even a $30 norelco. I unfortunately can't return at this point since I've used it already

I thought this was for haircuts as well not just beards

Sucked. Returned it immediately. Definitely do not recommend. Get the Wahl Wet/Dry instead.

For a trimmer worth 80$, it was pretty bad and was pulling my hair when trying to trim my beard. I would not recommend this

You pay a little more but in return you get allot more. The quality, construction and function of this trimmer are better then Norelco and Braun by far! I've owned and gotten rid of both brands. The Braun had a fairly dull blade and collected hair under the trimmer itself. The Norelco vacuum trimmer had a bad habit of hair getting sucked into the trimmer attachment and actually jamming up the blade. I had to take the blade apart every few weeks to make it work again. This Panasonic is washable and the blade comes off much like that of a plug in hair trimmer. The blades are extremely sharp and the motor is much smoother and quieter then the other two. The feel of this trimmer in the hand is sold and has a nice weight to it. The rubber grip ensures this trimmer won't leave your hand. The built in detailing trimmer is a clever design and shows the thought Panasonic puts into their designs. The pop up trimmer is good for side burns and detailing the edges of a beard after you've finished trimming it. The included combs are very sturdy and not flimsy like they were on the Norelco. There's three combs. Two for hair and beards and a third for the body or for close trimming. The two clear combs are adjustable via the dial on the trimmer. In use this trimmer just makes sense. It's well balanced, cuts everything with the precision I've come to expect from a Panasonic product. Everything just works really well and it designed perfectly for me. I mean when you look at little things like their vacuum nose trimmer even with an affordable product like that they put allot more effort into it's design then the other companies do. It's the little things like that keep me coming back to Panasonic for my grooming needs. So yeah if you want quality, reliability and something that works really well check out this trimmer.

I like that "scruff" look like a beard that's only a few days old. I've gone through 5 or 6 trimmers that I have never been satisfied with and keeping track of those darn plastic heads is a pain in the butt. Just received this today and after charging it used it for the first time. In a matter of just 3 mins or so I got the exact look I've been searching for. Having a heavy beard and one that grows quickly, this trimmer will save me lots of time.

What a waste of money! This thing pulls hair and has a hard time trimming! I hate using it and wish I could return it!
