Great Hair dryer but Steeply Prices

Overall this is a very good hair dryer and gets the job done and also does not cause damage to hair but it is steeply priced. I have straight small hair and therefore only blow-dry my hair maybe twice a month but when I do this hair dryer does the trick. It is quick and seems to add volume without drying out or frying my hair. It's a little on the heavy/awkward side for size but it dries quickly enough it doesn't really seem to matter but if you have super long hair past your waist it may be a bit heavy.

My wife and daughter both have long hair that is sometimes difficult to dry and this new unit from Panasonic has definitely made for an easier and faster drying process. The dryer itself is well balanced and made from a high quality matt finish plastic which is not slippery and should resist scratching. The included accessories (a splitter, diffuser, and directional nozzle) all attached securely with a click but are still easy enough to remove. My wife noted that the directional nozzle was prone to rotating if bumped hard enough with a hair brush while styling. There is an easy to clean filter on the intake end which is opened and secured with a latch. Operation is quiet and effective. After a week of use, drying time definitely appears to be much better than our previous dryer and even better than some salon units. Temperature control is excellent, with the hot setting sufficient for quick drying but not hot enough to be uncomfortable, even for my young daughter. The warm setting is a well controlled mid point between hot and cool. The "cool shot" button immediately cools the airflow. One of the big selling features is the "nanoe" air feature. This passes a certain amount of air through an electrical charge (and not over the heating elements) to maintain a higher level of moisture in the air mixture. I have no scientific way to measure this other than to say that after a week everybody is happy with how their hair feels after use. With a combination of good looks, solid construction, low noise, and excellent performance, this unit is easy to recommend.

Note: Since I do not have long hair, I tested the hair dryer on my wife’s hair. Before testing the hair dryer, I read through the instruction booklet to better understand the “nanoe” technology the product uses. It explained that the hair dryer expels miniscule water droplets, not visible to the naked eye, that infuse hair with moisture and add volume. I was initially skeptical about this claim, but was surprised to find that after use, her hair was indeed smoother than it typically is after a blow dry. I was not overly impressed with the dryer’s power and speed, as it was comparable to the cheaper, no-frills hair dryer we currently own. However, the “quick-dry” nozzle that comes with the product did seem to improve drying time. The other two nozzles (concentrator and diffuser) worked as well as expected. The hair dryer has three different temperature levels (cool, warm, and hot), as well as a cool shot button. The warm temperature was sufficient for drying her hair at a reasonable rate. The hot temperature was almost a little too hot. Overall, I felt that the hair dryer functioned as one would expect, other than the fact that her hair did indeed have less frizz and flyaways. However, I am unsure whether this benefit was worth the rather high cost for the hair dryer, since we normally have purchased hair dryers in the $25 range in the past that have done the job adequately.

Before now, I had never spent more than $15 for a hair dryer. It would be hard to quantify whether a Panasonic Nanoe hair dryer is worth paying eight times more than that. However, I will say it is the best hair dryer my wife and I have ever used. The Panasonic Nanoe is a little heavier than an inexpensive hair dryer is, but it is balanced and easy to grip. It has a heavy, longer-than-typical, nine-foot cord, which I noticed because we have had problems with cords going bad on discount store models. My wife has long straight hair, so she was impressed by the double screen on the back of the dryer, which prevents long hair from being sucked in and tangled in the motor. The Nanoe is also slightly less noisy than other hair dryers we have owned, and it has multiple speeds and temperatures. I don’t know if Nanoe is pronounced “nanno”or “nanoo” (like “canoe”) or how this feature works, but it sure seems to! My wife said that her hair felt noticeably softer and had less static electricity than when using an inexpensive hair dryer. Overall, this seems like a great product and we’re quite happy with it! Our previous hair dryer has been demoted to the guest bathroom.

The Panasonic Nanoe Hair Dryer 3 comes with 3 attachments the quick dry nozzle, concentrator nozzle and diffuser. Packaging was easy to open and assembly was a breeze, switching out the attachments was virtually effortless. I was pleasantly surprised at how light this blowdryer was. This is particularly beneficial when doing my own hair and teaching my daughter how to blow dry her own hair. The color is "pretty & cool" according to my daughter and I liked it as well. The quick dry nozzle did exactly that, it dried my hair fairly quick. I really appreciated the multiple settings not only for the temperature of the air but also the strength of the air flow. The concentrator nozzle really got my daughters hair straighter alot quicker than our old blow dryer, which was great because we didn't have to use a straightening iron. It let's you concentrate on one section at time cutting down on total blow drying time. The diffuser helped minimize frizz and gave my daughter's hair a smooth and shiny appearance. I would recommend this product to other consumers, it won't disappoint.

OK full disclosure… my wife is the one using and reviewing the Panasonic - Nanoe Hair Dryer as I don’t have enough hair to qualify. With that said, the Nanoe is very light for its size, and easy to hold and use. I still don’t quite understand the “Nano Technology” that is said to pull moisture from the air for the drying stream, but something is definitely different about the way this dryer works, as hair is much smoother compared to other dryers, and no tendency to “frizz out” as the hair gets fully dry. This is a very nice change from the “buy it at the discount store” hair dryers, and one of those “do something nice for yourself” things that helps the day start on a brighter note knowing that you are using a quality hair dryer that gives you a little “pampering” when getting ready for work.

    Saving My Fried Hair

Got this Hair dryer for my fiancé. She loves it and the attachments that it comes with (Quick drying, set and diffuser). She has bleached her hair multiple times (blonde, blue, Black, now chocolate brown and red). And while she has her routine of hair products it was always a challenge for her to maintain her dry ends (balancing between losing color or having breakage). This new dryer has made her so happy, it takes her less time to dry her hair (she has almost waist length hair) and it doesn't damage her hair like the other dryers. she says hair stay soft and smooth a lot longer and works well with her products.

I don’t blow dry my hair very often, but when I used the Panasonic Nanoe I felt it was one of the nicer hair dryers I have tried. My better half was able to provide more feedback on how it compares to other hair dryers she has used. First, the blow dryer exceeded her expectations and seems to be high quality. It is very light weight, quiet, and powerful. She feels her hair is healthier after use, whereas when using her old hair dryer it always felt as though it was damaging to her rather fine hair. It provides 2 speeds and 3 heat settings which is great, but even the highest setting doesn't scorch her hand as her old one did and is way more efficient in drying. It also includes 3 attachments that you can use for faster, more concentrated drying or different desired effects. Overall, this is a great little machine and I'm happy with its quality.

I'm not a stylist or an expert in things. In fact before this hair dryer I was using the cheapie one you get at a drug store, thinking what is the difference. The difference is big. This was an awesome hair dyer. It not only gets my hair dryer faster, but it doesn't seem to get brittle and stays nice all day. Same with my daughters hair when I help her blow dry, instead of getting dry and tangled it stays poufy and not at all tangled, making it easier for her to manage. This is just awesome. I love this dryer. Has all the features I need for my simple get my hair dry and get going. It does what I want and does it well. Can't ask for anything else.

my hair isnt long enough to give this a real test, so I have had my wife use this for several days, and she says she really likes it! it doesnt dry out her hair like some of her other dryers do, and she likes how quiet it is, and how much quicker it seems to dry her hair.. That sounds like a big time like to me! Its a bit more expensive than some of the cheapo hair dryers, but if it makes your wife happy, then its money well spent!

The good: The Panasonic nanoe hair dryer came with 3 attachments, which were easy to attach/remove. The temperature and airflow control buttons were big and easy to use. I used the quick dry nozzle attachment, and it did seem to reduce the time it took to completely dry my hair (I have medium length, straight hair.) I was pleasantly surprised with how straight my hair looked after drying, so I didn’t feel the need to use a flat iron afterward, and with how little static my hair had. The bad: I do wish the hair dryer was a little more compact or had a retractable cord for storage. But overall, satisfied with the product.

I got this hair dryer for my daughter. Overall, she really liked it. She found that it dried her hair fairly quickly, and didn't make her hair frizz up like it is prone to doing. This hair dryer is heavier than she is used to, but the weight is mostly in the back. All things considered, this is a very nice hair dryer.

You wont go wrong with this Hair dryer. +The hair dryer is very slick, smooth and very light weight which makes it easy to hold. Your arms and hands to not get tired easily. +It has three settings: Hot/Warm/Cool. Blows out air strongly, but not erratically. So you can style your hair while drying it. +Drys hair very quickly and smoothly, so it comes out looking very healthy. Having thick curly hair, this is a plus, because many dryers leave my hair frissy and dried out. +Comes with three extensions which includes a diffuser, so you do not have to buy. -Negative point: The cord. Disappointed that it does not have a function/button for the cord to wrap inside the dryer. For an expensive and modern dryer, wrapping the cord around the dryer seems dated. For someone with lots of hair you need a great hair dryer and this fits the bill.

This is without a doubt, one of the best Hair Dryers I have used. The best part about this dryer was being able to retain moisture in my hair longer after using it. Most other hair dryers I have used in the past always left me with coarse and frizzy hair, but this had the opposite effect. My hair stayed smooth and shiny for the rest of the day. The hair dryer itself was quite quiet when operating, which is nice. The only downside is that it is a little heavier than my previous hair dryer, but not by much. Another thing to note, is that slight smell of burning plastic at the beginning, but seems to have faded away after multiple uses. I would definitely recommend this hair dryer to those looking for an upgraded performance than the usual $30 dryers - it really does make a difference!

My girlfriend is a hair stylist and she was looking for a new hair dryer for personal use and she is very peculiar about her products to which I elected to go with this product. With all the products on the market, it's difficult to distinguish superior products, but this definitely is a great overall product. Hair dryer is so quiet that I can only think of the Dyson model being quieter. Then the nanoe technology is something new that I imagined was a gimmick, but I guess it definitely does make a difference as my girlfriend actually noticed a difference before I had told her about this feature. Overall I would definitely recommend this product as I think it overall is a solid product.

The Panasonic Nanoe Hair Dryer is a truly unique device. Beyond just being a basic hair dryer, the Nanoe claims to use a unique technology to charge the water droplets in your hair in such a way to promote drying without frizzing. The manual is nice enough to include a very scientific explanation for how this works (which I didn't really understand at all). I didn't personally experience it, but the manual warns that this process may result in water discharging out of the back of the device. I got a good chuckle out of that. The unit is fairly hefty and comes with three different nozzle attachments. It has a styling head, a diffuser head, and a "quick dry" head. It also comes with three different temperature settings (cool, warm, and hot), and it has a "quick-shot" cool air button that can give a quick burst of cool air while operating on the warm or hot settings. Honestly, I noticed very little difference between the "quick dry" head and operating the device without a nozzle attachment. But to be fair, my hair is fairly short and tends to blowdry rather quickly as it is. The diffuser attachment did a great job of drying my hair without disturbing my hair style. That being said, this attachment is huge (almost as large as my head itself), and I'm sure it was a comical site watching me dry my hair with it. I like the versatility of this blowdryer, and the range of options it provides. I'm not exactly a connoisseur of hair dryers or other hair care products, but I would recommend this to a friend.

Right off the bat this blow dryer definitely looks like a salon style dryer however it performs on a very average scale with no noticeable difference that sets it apart from an average low end dryer. First off out of the box you get 3 attachments with one of them being a diffuser. There are only 2 speed settings and 3 heat settings. Well the blower dryer does the obivious which is dry out your hair it fails to live up to some of its promises. One of the promises is faster drying with fuller, more volume hair. I gave this to my daughters and wife to try out seeing as how my hair isn't long enough to actually test that statement. The drying speed actually took longer then some of our lower end blower dryers and didnt even come close to produce the same amount of volume. The only good note i found was that even at its highest heat setting the heat wasn't that hot. The reason i say this is a good thing is due to the fact that you are less likely to damage your hair. Im assuming this is also where the promise of fuller hair comes from. Its probably due to the fact that at the hottest setting you won't scorch your hair. All in all this comes down to personal preference and style. Not every individuals hair is the same therefore you may not have the same results. However salon style dryers usually come with a salon style price and for me this dryer just doesn't seem to fit the bill.
