We bought it for the size, our space is limited. Its ok, not the most well built as the button started sticking within weeks.

If I could return this microwave, I would. I had to purchase one quickly, and this was the best of what was available. It’s small, the display isn’t user friendly, and the door open/close button sticks. The beeps are very loud and the volume can’t be adjusted. And the Alexa connection disconnects 3 minutes after you’ve used it. So you have to manually turn it on again to reconnect Alexa. Not worth the money.

Our microwave went out on Thanksgiving day. I did a lot of research and found this one. I am a big nerd and love the high tech features. Alexa makes it very easy to use. It included a free Echo Dot too. It cooks very good. I highly recommend it! They only think that I don’t like is that the clock doesn’t stay on all of the time…that wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

When it worked, it worked great. My only complaint was that the clock did not stay on when the microwave wasn't in use - what's the point of it auto-setting over wifi when it never displays it anyway? However, the microwave failed after only 4 months, with an error code that indicated the magnetron had gone bad. Trying to get warranty service through the manufacturer was painful, as the only authorized repair shops were 3+ hours away, and they didn't want to do a "mail-in service" due to the size. In the end, I was able to take it back to Best Buy who gave me my money back, but wouldn't exchange it. I had purchased it at a discount (combination of sale price + open box) for roughly $100 off everyday price, so I wasn't left with enough to re-purchase the same product.

Great product for the money. It's small and compact.

1) Four foot power cord much too short. I had to purchase an extension cable and had some trouble finding one in a neutral color and short enough for home use. Finally found one at Home Depot. 2) Oven is not well balanced. Has tendency to tip forward when being opened. 3) Bar for opening door is not convenient as mentioned above. 4) Lettering on exterior is difficult to read; lettering doesn't properly contrast with the body of the oven. 5. Instructions for operation are not well organized and too complicated.

Fabulous microwave! Don’t let the simple front fool you. This came as an open box item of which I was fine with bcz who doesn’t want to save $100 schmeckles! lol. That said, I love it!

The logarithmic time set dial is fantastic. For example, spin slowly to go to 20 sec, spin a little faster and you’re at 2 minutes. Very convenient, a brilliant design upgrade.

This microwave has a very clean design. I like the well thought out controls. It is a little different to use than most microwaves but ultimately is very simple and logical – tip of the cap to the Panasonic engineers. It is loaded with the latest technology in terms of sensor cooking by time or by weight. You can even set the microwave to keep food warm for a specified time – never had that option before and it is useful. It is a good idea to read the manual for all the operational procedures which I think will certainly make anyone delighted with the capabilities of this microwave. This microwave is a full 1200 watts which is unlike some of the under powered units. It has a beautiful stainless steel finish. It is in the medium size range at 1.4 cubic feet. The interior is a very nice non-stick surface. A feature I never had before is the ability to link this microwave to Alexa. I have an Echo Dot and it is simple to add this device to the Alexa app on your phone. I have to admit that I now always use Alexa to command the microwave. You can just say “Alexa microwave for 2 minutes and ten seconds” or even “Alexa microwave power 5 for 47 seconds”. Like magic the microwave will start. Of course you can tell Alexa to stop the microwave at any time. The manufacturer provides a very nice and comprehensive manual, not just a start up guide. Also included is a card that lists lots of command suggestions that you can use with Alexa – I’ve referred to that several times and I keep it near the unit. You can control the microwave easily from the panel if you don’t want to use Alexa. One odd thing is that the time of day display goes blank intentionally after a short period of time. There is a blurb in the manual about …’this is done to save energy’. I did not find a way to just keep the time of day on the display. It will return if you open the microwave door or press any of the controls. I would rather keep the time of day displayed – I don’t think it uses much energy, so the engineers goofed on this design point. A very important design point is that this microwave uses inverter technology. This means the power is constant. This technology has proven to cook or defrost without removing some of the flavor. This is somewhat objective but it is logical that the inverter technology heats more evenly and smoothly. You might recall that when you defrost, you will hear the microwave turn off and on. So in the defrost process you achieve say 50% cooking power. But this really means it delivers 100% and then turns off an equal amount of time to effectively deliver only 50% power. When you defrost with this microwave or use 20% or 50% power or whatever; the microwave delivers the power constantly at the reduced power… there is no on and off cycling. What I can see in the industry is this is the top method and will turn out better tasting meals. You can use the auto sensing that is built into the unit to cook or simply use the well thought out controls. All the operations are explained really well in the manual. I highly recommend this microwave for its capabilities including the ability to just tell Alexa to handle the settings – turns out Alexa is a wonderful option that I use all the time now.

The inverter microwave is weird, you put in the weight of the popcorn and it cooks 100 percent of the cereals and all is perfect.

Had to replace our 12 year old GE microwave that just gave up. This Panasonic has a lot of options and it's taken us awhile to get used to using it but the features are great. Have not taken advantage of the Alexa option as I thought it was not needed.

Great mid size microwave, sensor feature seems to work great, popcorn button allows adjustments so you can get it just right.

I honestly thought that all microwaves were created equal. Enter this model; it is the best microwave that I have ever used. The defrost sensor mode is amazing, my food is perfect every time. Definitely worth the extra money it costs.

The tech within the microwave is everything that it claims to be. I am very happy with the overall purchase. The reason I reduced some stars is because I bought this microwave specifically based on the listed dimensions because I have a very specific location I needed it to fit in. NONE of the listed dimensions are accurate so the only reason I bought this unit was a lie. I decided to not return it because it is such a cool microwave.
