Tried the same trusty NiMH rechargeable AA batteries I use in virtually everything else in my mother's Panasonic handset, and they wouldn't properly charge -- seemed like a trickle charge on the charging base despite being left overnight and then some, and then would only hold a charge for maybe an hour. Found it necessary to use Panasonic's own branded batteries. Disappointed in this, but it is what it is. Be sure to buy the right ones for your handset -- Panasonic has a ton of different handset models, and multiple AA batteries offered. Use their website to find the proper SKU.

Replacement batteries for a cordless phone. First we tried nonbranded batteries for cordless phone and they did not work. Very happy we were able to get panasonic brand rechargeable batteries for our panasonic cordless landline phone.

Atypical of most people, I still rely on a landline for most of my telephone calls and service. Regrettably one of my telephones' batteries needed to be replaced and unfortunately none of the three stores I hit that A. M. had rechargeable AAA batteries for my phone. When I finished my errands and looking for the right type and size batteries, I went on line and placed an order for two packs of Best Buy's Panasonic AAA rechargeable batteries. They came within a day of ordering and were less than all three other stores I had attempted to buy them in.

I have never used any other brand of rechargeable battery for my Panasonic phone. These batteries have a lifespan of a lot of years before needing to be replaced. I am so glad my closest Best Buy store has always had them in stock when I needed them.

The Batteries work well! I purchased AAA Panasonic rechargeable Phone batteries (a 4 pack) and Energizer AAA recharge batteries (a 4 pack). Very pleased my phone now has the power it needs.
