A terrific 4K player, perfect for people on a budget who want to upgrade to the latest standard. A fair price for a modest upgrade to be sure. The image clarity is not that much more impressive than standard blu-ray 1080p, but that's just my perception, yours may differ. Regardless, this will be the last time I upgrade to a new format. 8K can suck it!

Got as an open box item, and it looked brand new. I ordered a couple of 4K/Atmos Blurays, and the pitcure and sound seem to be improved over streaming services. No problems so far, except it looks like Best Buy will no longer sell physical movies. Bad timing on my part.

Love the ease of setting up and the quality of the pictures on our TV. With 4K viewing at the forefront, this is a must!

This dvd/Blu-ray player is excellent. I even bought two for different tv’s. The upscaling looks great and the addition of two sub ports allow for digital movies to play from a usb is super helpful. Plays every format including 3D, basically this player does it all and does it well.

So happy to be able to watch my movies and listen to my CDs. Afforatable DVD-CD player.

This Panasonic has excellent picture quality. It's very limited and slow in the streaming department. But I dont plan on using it for that. Produces a great picture for 4k and regular blu-ray discs. Only supports hdr10+ no dolby vision. But I dont have dolby vision on my projector anyway.

NOTE: I bought a used player so my review might not apply to brand new ones. Even though the used player was said to be in good condition, the apps only work half the time (Sometimes the video and audio on YouTube are out of sync, and Amazon Prime and web browsing crashed 80% of the time I tried using it). Certain websites aren't compatible with the web browsing app, such as Spotify, so YouTube is your only bet for listening to music online. I also tried playing a CD and it didn't show the titles of the songs either, just Track 1, Track 2, etc. I say this for those who are interested in testing out the disc playing features. Beyond that, it works quite well and displays really nice resolution. The disc playing works and Netflix seems to have no problems which is great! However, unless all the other flaws are absent or much less persistent when bought as brand new (trust me, the constant crashing on Amazon Prime is so frustrating it made me avoid using the app here altogether), I would not recommend it.

My new 4K Panasonic DVD works, plays great But to me a pain in the a , must turn on go to standby open install disk them must us remote , will not start up on its own like other DVD players, quality great, maybe it’s mee don’t like a bunch of remotes hanging around to use, like my other brands better easier for me, don’t need remore

I had a Sony player that could really be flaky. So I picked this up and it works great. I have a projector that doesn't do Dolby Vision, so this fit the bill.

Easy to install and easy to use. Can easily get you to the right format of your disk, the player recognizes it itself whatever format you’re playing on it.

Was looking for easy way to access Apps like Netflix, Paramount+ and add a DVD player to the mix. Fit the bill across the board. Only complaint is the Netflix toggle button stands out so if you're searching for something it's too easy to hit the Netflix button vs. the "up" button.

So far, I have had no real problems with this dvd player. But, there are features and capabilities that my previous Sony dvd player had that I still miss. However, overall and so far, this has been a good purchase.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She really liked it, and with my DVD / VHS player of more than 10 years failing to play and skipping constantly, I treated myself to one as well. Sleek, quiet design that plays everything and even improved the picture on my TV. The cord you recommended was perfect, and made the shopping experience easy and complete. Good job on that feature of your website. Great value and quality. Best Buy came through . . . Twice!
