Bought based on several review sites recommendations. My first Blu-ray player but we use DVDs frequently. Great image quality, audio decoding, HDR color rendition, 4K upscaling and at a decent price.

Have had for quite a while and zero issues. Great for the price compared to others.

This player works great- picture is sharp with great color, lots of detail in dark areas with HDR. Some take issue with the lack of Dolby Vision in this player, but I haven't missed it, mainly due to the presence of a feature called HDR Optimizer. You can select the type of TV you have (by luminance) and this player handles the tone mapping, tailoring it to that type of TV. So no matter how expensive or cheap your TV is, you can get an excellent picture from this player.

Easily integrated into my home entertainment/theater center, as a replacement for my old Blu-ray player. Recommended by my son.

Menu blinked on & off when we set this Blu-ray player up initially. We purchased a new good quality 4K HDMI cable ( Monster), and the unit worked perfectly. Hopefully it will continue to operate this way !

Awesome replacement for am old Samsung 4k bd player. The rich HDR settings sre great. The upscale from DVD and BD is awesome also. Grest value for the pricr.

Work well. Can watch all of our dvd’s blue ray and 4k’s.

Nice budget 4K player. Got it on sale for $99 over the holidays. However... I wouldn't have payed full price (almost $200). Supports HDR10 plus and Dolby Atmos, but no Dolby Vision. Also just had to do an exchange for the player. Unit started freezing in the main menu once a disc would finish playing. Would have to eject the disc, and reload. It eventually wouldn't power off or eject the disc unless the unit was unplugged, and plugged back in. Eventually got it to play discs again, but decided to return for a replacement before the temporary return policy was up. I'm guessing it was a faulty unit. Currently awaiting another player. Hopefully this one doesn't do the same thing. Aside from that, the video looks great once the settings are dialed in. Worth it on sale, but not full price.

Glad I bought this DVD player. It is small so it fits perfectly in my spot and plays well. Just what I needed.

Tremendous 4K player, very impressive. One of the most impressive 4K players we've seen in a very very long time. It hits the sweet spot between quality and affordability.

First went with the Sony x700 which is a pretty solid player and then ran across some videos on YouTube about this player and man what a difference! My tv is 4K but doesn’t get bright enough to take good advantage of hdr. Colors were some what washed out. Not with this Blu-ray player! Colors are much more vibrant and there is also much more control over picture settings within the player. There are several options for boosting brightness and contrast without overblowing the picture. There are 3 presets for changing contrast on the remote. The sound is also much better if that was even possible. Clarity is much better and bass seem to be deeper and more define. This is a solid player and is a must if you have a tv that is under 500 nits of brightness.

Easy to use, and a great picture. Linked to Wifi was simple.

unbelievable image processing....can upscale a standard dvd to 4k like no other player ive ever owned...4k is great but regular bluray discs dont need much upscaling but the image is still impressive. Colrs pop on this player but apps are very limited. Cant believe no Hulu but Netflix and Prime are upscaled on the player to 4k which made me dump the Netflix 4k package and the 3 (or is it 4 now) dollar premium fir 4k. Does not have Dolby Vision but I like HDR better anyway. This is the cheapest player with the best 4k upscaler chip that Panasonic makes minus Dolbyvision. Expensive but worth it if you have older discs. Brings new life to them without having to buy the 4k versions.

If you can get it for around $220, it's a great player. Only thing you're really missing is Dolby Vision. Don't buy this to stream on, use an Apple TV 4k for that.

Great Blu-Ray player. Easy to use and worked great with both really old DVD's and new Blu-Ray disks. Very easy to set up versus some other players I have had. Colors looks great too!

Once you figure it out, this is an excellent 4k hd player. Panasonic did a good job of simplifying the aspects of this unit so that it easy to learn to use and set up. Video quality is also very good and like the fact dvds with enhanced visuals can be played on this unit!!

Easy to install. Good quality picture and sound. Have about 20 hours viewing time on it with no issues.

Supports blue-rays as well as Netflix. I use it to watch my older VCD as well as DVD I borrow from the library.

I am very pleased with my Panasonic BluRay/DVD Player. The plaer works great and the picture quality is awesome. I cant say much about the streaming capabilty on this because I dont use it for streaming. I stream through my Roku box since it is more current and has more streaming apps than this player does. I updated the firmware on the player when I got it to see if there were more streaming choices, the firmware update was painless but the player will still not stream as many choices as my Roku. Overall I really like this player, if your purchasing it for playing DVDs and Bluray disks, its AWESOME! If your wanting to stream the lastest choices you'll want to invest in something like a Roku. Despite not havi g the latest streaming choices, it works great, picture quality is awesome and its a great value for the money.

If you don’t need Dolby Vision then this is the best 4k player out there for the money. Really the lack if external display and Dolby Vision support are the only real differences ive found between this and the UB820. That’s a great player and if you find it on a good sale, go for it. Otherwise, youll be plenty happy with this one. Great picture and the HDR optimizer makes a big difference.
