Supposedly Fix Inoperable Disc Tray

Supposedly the unit has been fixed. Per Service, they fixed it one day and sent back to the store but it took 3 week in transit before reaching the store.

Freezes

I did feel the picture quality slightly edged out the other player...but it just would lock up and freeze! I switched between the two player's a few times and the Sony always worked and loaded fast. Maybe the $500 to $900 players work better? But after trying this one I would recommend Sony or LG . Both just work.

Frustrating experience

Since we bought it when it wants to work it's great but it's a roll of the dice. Off and on itll freeze up and you will have to unplug it sometimes a few times to get it to reset itself and then it'll work fine for awhile. Won't play quite a few new disc's all way thru will stutter and freeze and disc's are perfect condition. My old ps3 will play them but not this thing that is suppose to be for media content. Yes when it runs it works good but it also has almost no apps. Very few and no store to search for any. For over 200 bucks I expect this thing to be alot better. Don't waste ur money. Owned it a year and find myself getting more irrirtated with it then enjoying it. Spend more and get better or just buy a 4k console itll play all ur media and more and better then this junk. Why spend 300 400 on one when u can get a console for 500 and do everything. Panasonic junk

Works good

I had to bring my 3month old player back (just past refundable time) because it broke. Thankfully I bought the warranty. Best Buy had to send it off only to say they wouldn’t repair it. This one was the replacement for it as I was told to choose from the stock they had if I wanted another player. It’s like they removed features from disc players as streaming became more popular. Menus look like they were designed 30 years ago. It’s just subpar especially for the price it is sold for. I bought the warranty because I am sure I will need it.

Super 4K UHD player

I put this 4K player with my Sony 4K today and its simply amazing. The picture quality is amazing and the way the sound changes in the movie happens are unreal. I have this hooked up to my Yamaha reciever and Bowers and Wilkins speakers!

Mainly because I guess Best Buy thinks selling something as open box-excellent means it's cool to send it without a remote so now I want on Amazon to come and save the day. That'll teach me I suppose
