Do Not Purchase--There is a systemic/design defect

It randomly stops and skips when playing DVDs or Blu-Ray movies. This first unit was purchased in 12/11/2021 and returned for a replacement on 12/31/2021. The replacement unit has the same defect. We are supposedly protected with the BB total tech proptection plan, but BB is reluctant to provide the protection we paid for.

Good DVD player

Odd that the preloaded software, games and internet links all were very dated...newest was ~8 years old. Also occasionally freezes and needs reset

Garbage

Buyer do your research

The 1st was returned for lack of streaming channels and tv hdmi port would not read attached device. The 2nd player arrived damaged yet the TV didn't read what hdmi was attached and was returned.

Doesn't perform as well as I expected

Picture is not what I expected. No different than my other blue ray player. Alot of money for no better picture. Would love to be able to to return the product.

Not Wireless as Specified

Wireless slowly rolled over and died

Bringing up YouTube videos gradually became slower and less reliable. Never could get Miracast to work. Now it totally refuses to recognize or connect to wireless. DVDs also now seem to start at arbitrary points rather than the menu. Extremely disappointed in this unit.

Bad player

Avoid this skipping and freezing player.

I thought I did enough research but I guess not. I bought this player to put in a movie room as I did not want to move my Xbox one or series x. Both Xbox consoles play my 4k movies great. This Panasonic player is so sporadic if it will play or contestantly skip and freeze. Avoid

NOT WORTH THE PRICE, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 6 months it started acting up and wouldn't play blu-ray dvds, and with it being wired to my wifi box the internet and user interactions legs bad. Im praying the 1yr manufacturer warranty holds up at least.

I ultimately cancelled the call as I felt it wasn't worth your tech coming out just to resolve a setup of a Universal remote.
