$40 Blu-Ray Player makes an excellent Gift!

Excellent gift for a parent to binge on DVD libraries and new Blu-Ray releases for years to come! There are more flashy players out there, for sure, but since 3D isn't a feature we were interested (and an independent sound system), we didn't need but a reliable player, and Panasonic gave us that in this nice black Friday steal!

Cords are kinda short, but the device works as expected with extra bells and whistles. Easy to understand menus for older people.

We have this connected through our WIFI which works just fine! I only wish the HDMI cable came with it instead of having to buy it separate,

Like any new device, you have to get use to its unique features, but nothing too sophisticated if you wanna just watch a DVD. Has some more advanced features that I probably won’t use, but nice to have just in case.
