Good graphics and gameplay. The game itself is somewhat short but it does have high replay value.

this game has a lot more in common with the thousand year door entry in this series than most will give it credit for. yes the battle system can be a little tedious. But overall the humor shines through. and some of the ideas here are truly unique. I personally love watching the thing cards go.

If you were not a fan of (Sticker Star), then you will not like this game. It continues the similar battle system where each turn is dictated by what cards you hold. Same-ish Mario like story but the dialog is what surprised me. Alot of self aware jokes and conversations is what is saving the game for me. Had a laughing quite a few times.

It's a decent game and a little better than the first. Does not quite fill the craving for a good Mario game though.

Just as the title says, the game is simple to play, but it's very colorful, the writing is great, and often quite funny, and most importantly, it's fun to play. I'd recommend picking it up if you're looking for something light.

I'm more of a fan of the original Paper Mario games on N64 and Gamecube. Color Splash plays more like Sticker Star for the 3DS which was fun, just not as great as the older games. Graphics look fantastic and the music is great too. Decent Wii U game for a sale price.

This game is a beauty to play. Everything looks and sound fantastic. The writing is also very humorous. The gameplay works just fine and the battles are designed to be speedy between having strong attacks and enemies doing considerable damage. The game is pretty lengthy, probably between 30 and 40 hours for most people. My only complaint is that the bosses absolutely require certain attacks to beat them. The game gives you good hints about what you need to beat bosses, but it was a little disappointing to find out I couldn't use alternative ways to beat them to make things a little harder. There could have been better enemy variety as well as some enemies or very similar variants are used too much throughout the game.

After the disappointing 3DS game Paper Mario Sticker Star, I was apprehensive about this game. However after completing it, I can say this is a much improved Paper Mario game. Great humor, fun gameplay and clever puzzles hampered by a few curious design choices.

This game was a breath of fresh air and a huge relief after the not well received last iteration. This is a beautiful game with fantastic dialog. The battle system can be cumbersome, but you can easily get past that. I can't recommend this enough

Funny script and story, but the battle system is not so great. You color in cards and use the cards as battle actions. Battles don't mean so much since there's no traditional leveling system. Still doesn't live up to the older Paper Mario games.

This game improves upon paper mario sticker star for the 3ds. It is better than Super Paper Mario for Nintendo Wii but not as good as the perfect Thousand Year Door for Gamecube.

I spent hours and hours getting through this game, and loved almost every one of those hours. Sure, like most of the Paper Mario games, it takes a while to get started at the beginning, but once you've learned the basics, the rest of the play is fun. At its core, it's a turn-based fighting game, as Mario faces enemies using "cards" representing attacks. But the cards don't work alone -- the player's dexterity matters. And there are worlds to explore, an interesting "paint"-based mechanic for powering attacks, and the chance to solve a few mysteries/puzzles. If you ever liked a "Paper" Mario, you will like this one.

I'm a long-time Paper Mario fan, and when Sticker Star for 3DS was released, I felt the same pain that so many other fans of the series felt. The game felt utterly devoid of character/story and progression. I was very worried that Color Splash would just be more of the same. In some ways, it is. But I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. It's not perfect by any means, and it's not the Paper Mario game that the fans are ravenous for, but it's still a pretty fun experience in its own right. You won't have the same intense story progression and emotional investment as you would for a game like The Thousand-Year Door, but Color Splash tries to expand on the existing concept and succeeds in providing an upbeat, humorous, and entertaining romp.

As a veteran Mario fan, I have to say I still enjoyed this game even though they switched up the formula with cards. The graphics are great. The game has lots of charm and funny moments.
