Customers frequently mention the enjoyable gameplay, fun story, and humor as highlights of Paper Mario: Color Splash. Many also praise the game's ease of use and memorable music. However, some find the battle system cumbersome and the amount of reading required excessive. A few players also felt the game's difficulty level could be improved.

Paper Mario: Color Splash has been hard to put down. The gameplay is fun, and a vast improvement over Sticker Star. This game features a "level up" aspect by increasing paint storage, so makes up for the short comings of Sticker Star. Hilarious dialogue throughout, and a good level of puzzle solving throughout. Highly recommend.

This game is a lot of fun and is so visually appealing. The levels are so pleasing to the eye. It is amazing how simple 2D shapes can look so awesome in HD. The music and sound is great too! I am not into RPGs, but this game is not very RPG like some of the other Paper Marios. This is a must get for any Wii U owner or Mario fan.

One of the best looking games the WiiU has produced. This game play is similar to Sticler Star, but is a more enjoyably entry. Only negative thing I can think of is this game has no "leveling up" system like paper Mario games of past. This game is definitely worth picking up and is simple to play for the younger audience as well.

I have always loved every version in the paper Mario series. It is set up a little different then the others but once u get the hang of it, u will love it as much as the others. My only disappointment is that there is no book to buy so u have to constantly go online to cheat. I like having the book in front of me while I play.

Im giving it 3 stars because it's Mario and because of the nice graphics and music. That's it. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this game. Mario games are awesome! But not this one. I love all of them, but how can you enjoy a game where you play with cards most of the time, or have to stop to read what a tree has to say? Annoying.

What a great game! Yeah it is a lot like Sticker Star and has some weird Nintendo game mechanics, but who cares. The music. My word...the music. Throw this game in, go to any world, put the controller down, walk away. The only soundtrack better in a Mario game was Galaxy...and some tracks in Color Splash beat Galaxy's best.

Purchased this for my son who is 7. He has been a huge Mario Bros fan and kept bugging me to get his game for him. Got it for an Easter gift. He's been playing it ever since. Fun, challenging, and keeps with the great RP tradition of the Mario franchise. Definitely a game for all those Mario fans out there.

Great game, but there are some differences to the original paper Mario games. It focuses less on the true rpg aspects and more on the action/collecting side of it, but no as much as sticker star (which is fine by me). Definitely still a great game and one to add to the sadly dwindling Wii U library.

This game is not bad. Is just not what I expected from a Mario Game. Not a game that you want to keep and play over and over. It's just too much reading and stopping to choose the cards to fight. It gets really annoying. I'm more into 3D mario or 2D like mario bros, where the action is non-stop.

Been waiting for this game!! watched previews of this game before it came out and boy am I happy!. The graphics are some of the best I have seen for the Wii U. The game play is fun, if you like the turn based style games. I'm just blown on how good this game looks. enjoining this a lot.

Paper Mario is back after Sticker Star had a mixed reception by fans. The best graphics of any Wii U game. Everything looks like real paper all the time. The past games came close, but this one is really great. Great combat is also back with a fun and simple RPG fighting and leveling.

Fun game, perfect to play. A great addition to the paper series, even if most will argue. The vibrant colors and graphics add to the experience of the story, all together making it an enjoyable game. Would recommend for any fan of Mario, or the paper series.

The Paper Mario world is as imaginative as ever. Wacky and inventive, oozing charm in all its dialogue and in-world concepts. The battle system is a slight evolution of Sticker Star's sticker system: there's still a lot of busywork to manage cards, but the paint mechanic does allow you to stretch out your supply when needed..

A fun Paper Mario game. Fans need to accept that Nintendo is not interested in making a Paper Mario RPG in the vein of Thousand Year Door. The newer Paper Mario games are a lot simpler; however, this title is a noticeable improvement over Sticker Star.

Although not an RPG, the game keeps the thematic humor from Paper Mario and TTYD. The gameplay is also memorable with fairly good search quests and reasonable puzzles. Nintendo excellently explores the theme of a paper world dependent on paint.
