I didn’t play the original but this one is great! The game play is good and the graphics look amazing. I binge played it and finished it within a week.

This is and might always be the best game in the series. After they released this game the series has never lived up to this game. If you are a fan of RPGs and Mario play this game!

Great game, great updated graphics. Feels good to play, A turn based game so if you don't enjoy turn based gameplay this game likely isn't for you.

Whether you played this on gamecube back in the day or it is your first time playing, this game is amazing. This version includes a couple extra "bonus" fights but otherwise is the same as the original with updated graphics. Definitely recommend!

Love this game, it takes me back when I'm younger. This game give good stories but also some challenging attempts. I'm looking forward going through out the stories!

Good game to keep you entertained for a while. No issues with controls or gameplay. It gets challenging at times, but as with all Mario games, it just takes some time to figure it out.

Amazing game, the original is already one of the best, and this version just enhances it so much, fun characters, story, graphics, and gameplay. The Switch game also fixes many translation issues from the original, probably making this the best way to play!

I think the majority of people would consider this a remaster, but honestly, pretty much every aspect of this game is remade beautifully. As someone who played the original GameCube version and doesn't typically buy remakes, I say give this a shot. Everything that I didn't like about the original, they either got rid of or remade it into something so much better. This remake is literally a dream come true. Worth ever penny.

An excellent remake of an already amazing game! I was able to experience my childhood again, and had a blast the whole way through! It does have some additional content compared to the old game, along with a new english translation. I love the added personality that the partners have now! They have more expressions/reactions and flavor text compared to the old game! If you're considering this game and like straightforward RPG's, buy it. You won't regret it!

Another fun Mario game for the switch. I never had the chance to play this game on the Gamecube, so is a must if you are Mario fan. You always have fun playing Mario games.

Really really loved this game except some fights are definitely very challenging. But the game has some great jokes in it too

Paper mario has been a series that was great for the first 3 games and the other 3 have been experimental some ok some bad. However, now that this remake is out on nintendo switch it shows that they can return back to their RPG roots or maybe find something new by rediscovering the old. Now that they are on a up and with Mario & Luigi brothership coming out in November maybe the RPG roots were best all along.

The graphics are greatly improved from the originally game. The battle system was fun and entertaining for an Mario fan. The only downside was that the load times between scenes took a while to load and the dialogue took forever to go through and no way to make it go faster.

Grandson loves all things Mario. Has enjoyed countless hours playing this games. Enjoys the challenge. Grandma loves that his mind is keeping active and he has a smile on his face.
