first of all we are sorry you are having issues with your Paperlike experience! For the application process, here are some tips you could follow to help you have the best result: 1. My first advice is to try the application with the second Paperlike included in the package and remove the other one. 2. Then, I highly recommend you watch the application video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgXpg6EEorM&t=172s) before applying the screen protector so that you memorize the process and the application process is faster -> you will avoid a lot of dust with a faster application! Some further tips on how to avoid dust during your application - Be sure to carefully clean your iPad's screen, and especially: Make sure it's perfectly dry. Otherwise, dust will stick to it, and you'll have to start the cleaning process from the beginning. - Don’t turn the sticky side towards the ceiling before applying. - Make sure you do it in a quiet and dustless room, as particles come almost magically from everywhere. - Try applying the Paperlike in the bath after a hot shower. The steam takes down the dust particles. - Clothes can attract dust and lose tiny hair, too. Cotton t-shirts don't lose that much hair and don't attract that much dust, consider wearing one during the application process. - Be sure you don't have any pets around you as they can lose hair and attract dust. A required accessory for the Apple Pencil

The feeling of the screen is MUCH nicer to draw on with the Pencil and also protects against scratches. It does make the screen more matte but artists typically prefer that.

Good option, but you could do better for less

Heard lots of positive things about it and decided to buy it when I got a new iPad. The install process was so challenging and the video guide was not super helpful considering it’s not geared toward this iPad type. I screwed up the install on my first one and had to utilize my second one. In my opinion, unless you are a serious artist or writer, you could find a better option for less money. It’s pricey with no warranty and not optimal for first time buyers!

It’s so thin it doesn’t feel like it would actually protect. And to be completely honest it doesn’t feel like paper. It makes my new iPad look tacky.
