The software runs smoothly! It's important to know that the maximum RAM you can utilize in your virtual machine using this edition is 8 GB (I didn't know that while being it). The toolbox that comes with the license is also super useful for converting and even capturing videos from you computer.

If you ever need to use windows/windows applications but must have a MacBook and just cannot deal with using windows on a day to day basis you must get Parallels. The perfect windows solution for someone who cannot give up MacOS and live with using a windows laptop everyday. Makes using windows on a Mac super simple and does not require to have to boot into a single OS.

bought a mac mini for work which needed windows to run this software allows you to have windows running in one window pane on task bar at bottom and still use mac software as well without having to shut down and reboot between mac/ios and windows switches in applications like boot camp makes you however you still need to purchase a windows version (ie. windows 10) in order to run it as it is not included in the purchase price but if you already have an additional license for windows software from a previous purchase you can use that instead.

As a new MacBook user, I was a bit concerned about the leap from PC Windows machines that I have used for decades. And although, I love using a Mac, I still wanted to familiarity of a Windows system and the ability to use Windows based software that I already had. This is where I opted for Parallels instead of the Mac Boot Camp feature. There is no need to partition a drive to take full effect of a Windows environment and I can jump into and out of Windows easily without rebooting my system. I love it!

Works great for running Windows 10 on my Mac, but like everything else on Macs, when the OS is updated, a lot of software doesn't work, Hence now I need to upgrade this program as well. This is a much better solution than duel boot, because you don't have to reboot to run windows, and don't need to partition your hard drive

I did not know anything about this product. But when I talk to a Best Buy employee they let me know how to use this product.Set up is really easy and understandable and I definitely love how you can go from windows to Mac. Especially since I do homework and mechanics stuff. They make this useful in so many ways.

This is way better than virtual box, and maybe better than VMware. It runs faster than a regular windows pc and you can drag and drop between OS X desktop and windows filesystems. It is really fun to use.

The older versions of Parallels were much more reliable and user friendly. This one crashes all the time and it is much more difficult to move between the Windows and Mac side. It is impossible to share files, photos and docs. Example: and Word documents I save to the Mac desktop automatically open in Pages, even though Word is designated as my preferred program for document files

I was new to Mac OS and still had some programs that I needed to run on window. Parallels was a great solution. You can switch between a Mac and PC. With desktop shortcuts it will switch on its own.

This is an amazing program to run more than one OS without the need of boot camp. I was able to save a few bucks buy buying the code in a box then digitally.

I liked being able to use Windows on the Mac mostly for my grammar checker. Would be better if I had a 16GB Mac.

the program Paralles is awesome works well on my Mac OS computer that I also bought from Best Buy.

For the most part this program allows you to run most windows programs on Mac.
