    Great Drone!

Great drone, I've owned previous drones along with the Parrot Bebop drone and this unit is miles better than past models. The camera on this drone is great and the ability to change angels 180 degrees is a nice addition. The flight time is also much better than previous parrot products, I haven't pushed it for the full flight time but can have done multiple over 20 minutes without pushing it to zero. The carrying case that comes with the extended model is also very nice to have making it easy to haul the drone with you anywhere. Only complaints on the drone is the size of the controller. Phones with a case will not fit in the controller, you will have to take your case off. I prefer to fly with an iPad as well which past models would hold but still works with the product. I would suggest getting the extended pack as it provides you with three batteries. The charging of the batteries is a little slow and takes over an hour so having three should give you plenty of flight time.

I did some research before I purchased this drone for my wife’s Christmas present (it was what she had asked for). This is the first drone for us and I was worried about crashing it and wasting the money on it. I can tell you that it’s super quiet and very easy to fly. We tried it on a windy day and I was really surprised it didn’t have any issues. I was worried that it might struggle with the high elevations in the mountains but it had no problems at 7,000 ft. The little camera is quite adequate for both stills and video. I’m sure one could use it for professional real estate photography and for how quiet it is it wouldn’t disturb the neighbors.

Great quality drone for the money! I'm thrilled with the photo and video quality from the Anafi. Very stable and easy to fly. I've flown in winds over 25 mph with no issues at all. I've been learning the "dronies" (automated features) and they give awesome results. I've found the at the 5.8 ghz setting works best in urban environments when there is a lot of wi-fi interference. I've flown up to 400 foot elevation and quite a distance away (while still maintaining visual line of sight) and am impressed with the Anafi.

So this is only my second I guess you say professional drone ever. My first was the Yuneec Q500. This is so much better plus I got the fly more combo for $494! First as always I would recommend you get ND filters for this. Pro's and Con's Pro's: very light weight Small easy to carry So far the video footage in 4K is stunning It's very responsive like a little bumble bee. you have a 180 degree tilt which NO drone has so that gives you more creativity. good flight time, not as good as DJ Maverick that's around 32-35 minutes, but you will get between 20-25 on this plus you have three batteries. Con's : No voidance sensors ! Range is not great Cannot Film @60 frams in 4K! Like I mentioned earlier you have less flight time than some other drones about 5-10 minutes less. (now flight time across the board on drones has to do with: if you're using 4K, how fast you fly, how far you fly, and how high you fly) It's only a 1/2" sensor something I didn't mention earlier but I am now. With the newer DJI having 1" sensors! Still the image quality is really good! I haven't dug deep into the app but doesn't seem to have a lot of features, or you have to pay for special features! So in the end would I recommend this drone? YES if the few con's aren't a big deal to me there's only a few like no sensor for avoidance but nether did my last drone. Having a bigger sensor would be nice, but to be honest so far the footage looks so good very little if any color grading. It's a little touchy side to side or when you stop quick as well. I hope this review helps please feel free to comment or if you have any questions.

I have had the Extended for about 2 weeks now and Purchased it at BestBuy. It is my first drone and have been reading the manual, viewing online reviews and videos, and applicable FAA regulations. It has no object avoidance sensors so be very careful if you fly it close to trees or bushes. I have lightly crashed it on a couple of occasions while trying to figure out the controls and damaged some of the props. It was easy to replace them with the extra props included in the extended version, which also includes 2 extra batteries (total of 3 batteries) and a great storage bag. I have the Anafi with the Skycontroller connected to my iphone and the software is very comprehensive, feature rich and smooth. Image quality is excellent (see attached photo). This drone is easy to operate, has 25 minutes of flight time and it is very low noise. People around me hardly notice I am flying a drone. I am very happy with the Anafi and would buy it again.

These small size drones are the future! Super easy to pack and take on trips while still sporting a great camera and other features. This drone was super easy to setup and understand how to use. When it starts up it rises up a few feet and sits there waiting for input. The camera is awesome! Most reviews are very positive for this unit and it's easy to see why. I think this unit is a winner for anyone interested in a great drone at a great price!

Only a few flights in and this drone seems as good as the DJI branded guys. I own a Spark and this is as easy if not easier to fly. Even though there is no obstacle avoidance sensors onboard the Anafi. It holds steady right where you put it. The flight software has far more options than I'll likely use, but works great with my OnePlus Pro 7(Android) phone. Although, if you use any of the big 6.5 inch or bigger phones. You may need to add a tablet/phone holder adapter. They only cost a few bucks and I Feel Like It's More Secure way to hold my pricey phone while I fly. The controller grip maxed out on my size phone with case. And the controller grip is not that great for curved edge glass screens. It's now 2020, And many features were added in the update. One feature lets you fly like a pilot with banked turns in the video footage you record(may not be practical, but is fun to look at). There is really a lot going for this drone when you compare it to the competition from DJI and Autel. Those guys make great drones, but it's a much larger investment to play in their airspace. 4k video. Quiet (far less angry bee noise with the Anafi). Ability to film straight up. Film straight down. And everywhere in between. Actual flight times in the 20 minute range. And well under $1000 even not on sale. I think this drone is more than capable for the next few years. I'd say buy it if your budget allows for a quality prosumer drone that's not just a cheap toy to annoy the neighbors pets. When the deal happens for the case with 2 extra batteries(3 batteries total) jump on it!

The camera image quality and the size are strong pluses. The video quality is absolutely better than the 1st gen Mavic Pro I used to own and it was even more compact and lightweight with the extra batteries kit. Hand launching and landing was a breeze. The only thing I would have wished for is obstacle avoidance but the remote control was good enough that I didn’t worry after the second flight.

The Parrot Anafi has the features of some of the more expensive drones at a competitive price. The drone is compact and made of light but strong composite materials that probably help in extending its flight time. The controller is very ergonomical and the Freeflight 6 software is very intuitive. Camera mode makes it very easy to fly for getting high quality video but the flight controls can be adjusted to increase performance for just having fun. I only gave it four stars because I had a problem with the first controller and had to return the unit. That said Parrot and Best Buy immediately replaced the unit so I have to give them kudos for great customer service. I've never operated a drone with collision avoidance (which the Anafi doesn't have) so it wasn't important to me. The Anafi may be too expensive to be considered a starter drone, although in camera mode with the default settings it is very easy to fly, but should definitely be considered when making the next step up, especially if very good video quality is important to you.

You can get more bangs and whistles for a few hundred dollars more but I caught this package on sale for $600 around Christmas time and gave myself a present! It had shot up to $800 as was eyeing it for over a year. With the appearance of the DJI Mini 2K Fly More pkg @ $500, when I stumbled on this for $100 more and 4K, I hit the "Buy Now" button. With a 6-gang $30 charger you can keep the 3 batteries and the control charged along with your phone/tablet with an extra slot available. It has "Smart" batteries so they regulate themselves. My virgin flight was in the hills of TN with 20 mph winds and in the 30's. She performed like a champ and I got decent battery times even in the cold. And I had another two batteries to fly on. The bag which comes with the kit is basically the "drone only" case sewed on the top of this with ample room for everything you see above and room for cables, extra props, paperwork, etc. Self-contained and easy to transport. One warning: if you want to add accessories like prop guards or leg extenders, neither will fit the compartment as designed. It's a "put them on and take them off" situation and anyone who has purchased the feet will know that is not "quick release" for a certain type that is advertised as such. A modification would be necessary. But it is a very functional system and fun to fly while getting near professional footage/photos. And does not require an advanced degree! The Mini avoids registration for it weight. But for $5 registration and $100, you get 4K and a few other features. You decides.

I'm not new to drones but the Parrot Anafi surpassed my expectations ! Quiet , handles so smooth , and the camera quality is very hard to beat ! Love it and will recommend to new pilots due to the ease of flying and onboard settings as well as to seasoned pros due to the amazing quality build ! If you can swing it , get the Extended bundle , you won't regret purchasing this one ! My flights are posted on youtube , the unboxing and 2 flights so far due to poor weather . I have a Mavic Air and a Mavic Pro drones. In the last update DJI put a no flight zone in a lot of places that I flight before without any problems. Most of the locations were turistic attractions that I like to take pictures. I buy the Anafi because don't have "No flight zones". The quality of the image on the Mavics are better. More crisp and better color but I have this drone as a second choice If I can't fly the Mavics. It's a good drone for the price.

The stability and agility are impressive. I've had the Anafi in 15mph winds and it performed well; a little slow heading up wind but it did. The lens articulation is excellent. And, at high elevation, you can not hear it. So keep on eye on your bird. Advice: do read the Parrot website instructions for the Anafi regarding micro SD cards: Not all micro SD cards are compatible; it lists which ones are.

This is my fourth Drone, first Parrott, previous ones were DJI. This Drone software (Free Flight) is easier to use than DJI's, the drone has video as good as DJI. I agree with everyone else that the SD card holder is a mechanical design flaw. While flying and recording video I get SD card error messages, then I have to start the recording again. This is a major disappointment/hassle. I was able to put a tiny piece of index card into the SD card holder and that helped. Except for that issue, I really like this Drone and for the money it is a great value Drone.
