Customers are delighted by the Mambo FPV Drone's ease of use and camera quality, frequently citing its fun and intuitive controls and excellent image capture. However, the short battery life and limited flight time are common criticisms, with some suggesting purchasing additional batteries to mitigate this issue. Concerns were also raised regarding the drone's size and price point for some users. A few customers also mentioned that the range could be improved.

This small drone is excellent by itself but trying FPV mode drains the battery so fast and the video quality sucks, I've tried different video configurations and none of them improved quality , the video is very lacky and blurry. I love the drone but I'm very disappointed with the FPV mode

It was my first drone and am thoroughly happy with it. The only downside is camera quality but its the quality I expected, to be honest. I eventually want a drone that camera can move and with better quality. The drone handles fairly well especially outside with some wind. I'd highly recommend.

Cool toy, not to be mistaken for a 1000 dollar drone but for kids it’s good

This is an excellent starter drone. My husband has been wanting a camera drone for some time now, though they are very expensive pieces of equipment. This is the perfect drone for learning how to use them correctly, and frankly, it’s a lot of fun!

I picked up this drone to get flying practice along with a BeBob 2 that I am using for photogrammetry. I figured that if I am going to be taking the bark off trees, I would like to do it with something cheaper.
The Mambo drone is outstanding. Rock solid connection with the controller, powerful enough to pick up things like candies and (small) flashlights, and powerful enough to fight the A/C when it kicks on. Flight time is 8-10 minutes depending on cargo. Parrot doesn't even mention on the box that there is a full programming API that can be played with.
The camera, not so much. The Mambo was not originally designed for a camera and the integration is not the greatest. There is a certain order to turn on everything or it may not all connect. (I use drone first, then phone app, then controller.) Merely having the camera drains the battery fairly quickly. Flying with the camera cuts flight time from 10 minutes to 3:30. With the goggles on, those can be a pretty fun 3 minutes. I think (don't hold me to this) that the camera connects to the phone by Bluetooth while the Mambo connects by WiFi. While the controller has great reception, the camera can drop signal at fairly close range. Having two transmitters may also explain part of the battery life problem. I fully expect Parrot will do better with integration on their next mini-drone. Their work with the BeBop 2 is excellent.
Over all, I'm pretty happy with this.

Purchased this for my husband and He used it inside the house and knocked it against the wall and lost one of the propellers! For this size drone the propellers were not sold in the store. Although they did have some available for other brands.
