I went in to this movie with low expectations and was blown away with quality of the film. Very funny from start to finish, and you really connect with the characters in the film. It's definitely a Sci-fi nerd comedy, but if you are fans of the Simon Pegg and Nick Frost films this is definitely up there with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz! Seth Rogen is great as the alien Paul as well, as long as you aren't annoyed by his laugh! Overall I highly recommend if you are looking for a fun comedy full of laughs and Sci-Fi humor!

If you liked previous Nick Frost and Simon Pegg movies (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, The World's End) then you will love this one. For once it is set in the US, not the UK. Great cast and good surprises at the end. Watch the movie before watching the features or it gives it away. Very funny for a Sci-Fi lover or a Frost/Pegg movie lover. And to get it in the $5 Blue-ray bin was a bonus. Great pickup for the money.

I really enjoyed this movie, from start to finish. The actors are the same as in Shaun of the Dead and they act really well together. the story line is a little far fetched, but what do you expect for a comedy about a alien who likes to party. It is a differant take on the ET go home story . Some jokes fall flat, but overall the one's that work make you forget them. Overall it is a above avg. to excellent movie and well worth watching, especially with friends.

I am a huge simon pegg and nick frost fan so it wasn't going to take much to get me to like this movie. I really enjoyed the story line of two older "nerds" traveling the alien quarter of the states. Seth rogen makes a great voice for a nasty perverted alien and despite the alien figure being digitally added in all the actors played well off eachother.

Paul is one of those movies that you pop some popcorn and sit back to enjoy these two actors who work so well together. The alien also makes the movie. The dialogue between all the characters is the type that pulls you into the movie.

This is a great comedy movie with many comedians about an alien that was left on earth and what we tried to get from him and also 2 guys from England who help him evade the govt. They are writers on vacation and learn there are a lot more rewards in life if you just "roll the dice". Lots of cliché's of other movies and the final scene brings it all together.

A funny alien abduction movie, or more so a reverse alien abduction story. Seth Rogan and those brits will start you laughing and if you don't mind a little implied raunch, then you'll keep on laughing. Unless you don't get it, and stop the movie thinking it just to stupid to continue, then maybe you shouldn't have bothered. It is a comedy after all.

What a classic nerd movie for the masses. Be carful because this has hella foul langue f this and f that kinda fun with all know movies stars. One of my favorites to put into my personal collection.

I got this movie because I absolutely love the Simon Pegg movies I've seen so far ("Hot Fuzz," "Shaun of the Dead"). It was incredible. Everyone in it was wonderful, and the story and developments were fun and creative. I recommend this to anyone who is not lame. :)

If you liked Shaun of the Dead.... you will like this. If you like Mel Brooks and all his parody films... you will like this movie. It might not be for the really young kiddos since there is a lot of swearing... but it was worth the time and money. It is no Oscar contender... but it is for sure part of my permanent movie collection. :-)

This was, bar none, the funniest alien-driven movie ever! There's not much to say other than, GO BUY THIS MOVIE AND WATCH IT WITH SOMEONE WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR, because this movie will absolutely offend the right people and make you laugh so hard you have to pause to catch your breath and then rewind to see many scenes again.

This movie gave us quite a few laughs. Simon Pegg delivers again with his usual engaging comedy. This pair of actors make comedy magic together, as they did in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Shaun of the Dead still outranks this movie of theirs. Glad that I bought this movie though for my collection.

I thought that after Hot Fuzz and Run, Fat Boy, Run that these two didn't have anything as wonderful as Shaun of the Dead left in them, but I was wrong. This movie is laugh-out-loud hilarious, with just the right amount of adult humor. Definitely not recommended for young one, but anyone college aged or older will enjoy this.

I want to be 100% truthful with my reviews and I've seen a lot of movies! This is not one of my favorite, the story is so-so, it has many funny points! However what sold this to me is the stars! Simon Peg, Nick Frost, and Seth Rogen! If you liked any other of Simon And Nick's movies this is worth a watch or a pick up, it's pretty cheap at Best Buy.

I really enjoyed this film. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are hilarious. This movie is funny, irreverent, and sweet at the same time. It is, however, a movie that will appeal to nerds (and I mean that affectionately). You're really going to enjoy the subtleties more if you're a sci if nerd.

Bought for someone else they like movies like this

When it's funny, it's really funny, but at points the humor seems to drag or dare I say, become a bit too immature for my standards. If you enjoy other Simon Pegg/ Nick Frost collaborations, you'll likely enjoy this, otherwise I's recommend you skip it.

Best Buy online was easy to use and customer friendly. We were so happy to have found the movie Paul. We saw it years ago and just had to purchase it. This movie is hilarious!!
