In a summary, this PC is very good for light to moderately high tasks, gaming in mid to high settings, and comes with a lot of extras. WiFi. Bluetooth, DVD+CD RW, keyboard and mouse, and usb type-c 3.0. Great PC for the Black Friday price of $350 ($380 taxes, fees, and shipping).

We run a small business out of our home and need to track inventory and prepare consultation information. This does it all and is a replacement for my old XP upgraded to 10 machine that started to making noises-not good. A breeze to set up, is quiet with a small foot print. It will fit behind the monitor instead of under the desk. Games? We do a few card games and hidden items. No problems. It is fast, we use Google Fiber 100 what evers per second. My old machine would only do 34-40 per second, this one gets the full 100. The TB of memory is showing very little memory used as we do not load on tons of music, movies, etc. but do have some family pictures. The best part is that HP had it on sale at their website, BestBuy did the price match thing saving me hundreds!

Last month, I replaced my old HP desktop which I had for over 8 years. I went shopping around, and found this model which has many of the same features as my old desktop but with some improvements. About a month into using this computer, my opinion is that for the cheap price I paid it is a very decent system for most uses. The only real cons I can come up with are: I believe it is the CPU fan, when the slightest load is put on the machine, the fans revs up and down to regulate the temperature. I realise why it does this, but my old desktop would gradually speed up, not like a motorcycle. I am sure there is a setting in BIOS to disable this though, so I am not to leave this black mark. Also, the power supply, which for most purposes should be fine, is pretty bare bones (180W). If you wanted to upgrade I would seriously looking into installing a bigger PSU being that the stock one probably just barely keeps up. And now for the biggest con of all, the DVD/CD drive. I noticed a couple years ago, when I bought my HP Pavilion laptop that the DVD drive was VERY flimsy! The same is true for this unit as well. The drive is mounted vertically, and when you press the eject button, the tray pops out in the same fashion a disgruntled worker would push your item to you. You have to gently pull the rest of the tray out and then hold the back on the tray while you struggle to pop the DVD/CD into place! Very awkward and half arsed to be honest. There is also only ONE USB port in front, but 4 in back. In conclusion, I feel HP has sort of cheaped out a bit the last few years with still maintaining a good product. Aside from the negative comments, I would strongly recommend this computer.

Very Fast, responsive, and quiet machine. Did I say fast? :-) Incredible for the price! The bloatware is almost criminal. Spent half a day deleting garbage that was included on the drive, but was worth the trouble. Can't beat this type of performance for such low price. Other than that, the machine is EXCELLENT!

Purchased this HP Pavilion 470-p094 to replace a 10 year old desktop. Excellent value for the money. Purchased at a Thanksgiving Day Sale for $349.99. The Bluetooth ties into my new Onkyo receiver great and the Wi-Fi is faster than my wired connection. Minimal lag for the Home/Light office tasks I've thrown at it, DVD and HDMI work great. Relatively painless setup. Removed the McAfee in favor of a different anti-virus program, but a strong overall value. If you just want a standard home PC with a few accessories plugged in, this will fit the bill. If you are a power user planning on expansion, then you should probably look elsewhere, but for what it is, it does a great job.

This is my first new PC in a while and my second HP, and I got it at a great price. My first was the computer this one replaced, which lasted for quite a long time with minimal problems and only a few upgrades made from the base unit (more memory and a dedicated gaming graphics card). My only complaint thus far is the DVD drive, which seems like a flimsy laptop drive stuck in a tower to me. Now I just have to learn the finer points of Windows 10.

I am NOT a gamer or a technophile... This computer is for work and the occasional session of surfing the net. It is awesome and certainly an upgrade over my 2010 laptop.

This PC has everything you need with a top of the line AMD 12 processor. Even has Bluetooth to link all your devices together. Very fast. Start up on this PC is a breeze; you don't need to be tech savvy to set this thing up.

A definite upgrade from our previous computer! Super fast and easy to use.

I have noticed it's a little noisy. The noise is much more noticeable than my last one. While it's faster than my previous one it still seems to be a little slow in the response time. More RAM might be needed. Overall, it does its job and meets my needs.

Although priced very low it is still a top level PC which delivers great speed and performance, I am definatly happy with PC. My employees have been able to get more done and are very happy with the PC.

I've gone through many computers, however, this one was by far the easiest to navigate. I was also surprised as to how small it is, yet seems to be a very capable computer. I do recommend it!

Purchased this PC to replace one with a failing hard drive and time to upgrade. Got it on sale which made it even better. I haven't had it very long yet but it's been great for home use. If you're looking for a home PC with plenty of storage? Don't be afraid of this one.

This is an early review, as I've only been tinkering with the PC for a few days, but I wanted to share the stellar first impression. I have more experience with Intel chips, but this AMD processor is snappier than the i5 in my laptop, which is better than I anticipated. I expected it to work well booting, surfing and multi-tasking, but what inspired me to provide a review so soon is how impressive the Radeon R7 video capabilities are. I did not intend to use the PC to game, and I had low expectations for the integrated video, but the .5 GB of DDR on the chip really did perform far beyond my expectations. I tested by running Skyrim with low detail and 1080p and high detail at 720p. I only intended to gauge the quality of the graphics, and ended up starting a new character and campaign because the game runs so well. Definitely not what I expected to find, and a very welcome surprise at that. I purchased at a sale price far below the regular price, but even full price seems like a value. I can't justify a 5 star yet, but if this PC continues in the direction it started out going, I expect after a few months the fifth star will be justified.

I have to say i'm very impressed with this desktop for the price. Last month I had a computer emergency and had to find a powerful but reasonably priced alternative. Solid desktop for a little over 500 bucks. Works great for my online marketing work.

I researched several towers concentrating on review comments and compared the towers using Google Search. I feel I got 'mucho' bang for the bucks. It is very User Friendly and was easy to setup. To me - it is my Hi-End tower. Extremely satisfied.

For the price I paid this desk top tower runs fast. It has a great video card. And a large hard drive for all my data. Very happy with this purchase.

runs very smooth, I am used to windows 8 ,so this has been a little challenge.very quiet machine

I was not completely sure of this purchase, but am SO glad I went with this rather than a more expensive unit. It does EVERYTHING I need it to and more.
