Lights Out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A week after purchasing the Afterglow controller, the lights on the controller ceased to function. The controller works well in every other capacity. Waiting to see what goes next.

RE: Afterglow Xbox controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.( had this controller over a year prior towards my membership) This controller was a replacement from my old one that broke. I decided to go with wired because there would be no batteries in use. I also went with the fact that there was lightning on it. Once i got it i decided to play various games. It was very good, just like the original one. Instead of paying another $60 for a wireless one that needs batteries might as well pay half for the same.

Solid 3rd party controller.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been looking for a corded controller because I am sick of replacing batteries on my cordless one. Best Buy advertised this controller in their ad last week and I noticed it had received decent reviews so I deiced to pick one up. As any gamer knows it can be a roll of the dice buying 3rd party accessories, especially controllers. Usually with a 3rd party controller there is something off, the buttons are loose, the triggers feel funny or the d-pad feels cheap. The after glow controller stacks up pretty well overall against the Microsoft one. The controller feels solid and it is lighter than the cordless one because it has no batteries. All of the functions work well save for when you have to press the left analog (which I will go over below) stick down. The buttons, sticks and triggers work well, feel well, and function as they should. I played MW 2, NBA 2K10 and Read Dead Revolver and I have zero complaints about the function of the controller. As for the glowing aspect there are three functions which can be used. The first is on, meaning the controller glows at all times. Off, which means no lights at all, and effect, means the lights are off until the controller vibrates. There are a few cons though. The left analog stick is much tougher to press down than the Microsoft one. This is not a big deal in most games but when playing MW 2 it is a big aspect because you need this to run. My thumb was actually getting sore after about an hour. However I am hoping after the controller breaks in a little it will be easier to press the stick down. While the controller itself is solid the plastic they used is super smooth making it feel like at times it may slip out of your hand; especially if you get sweaty palms during long gaming sessions. The last point, which may not be a con to most, is that when buying this in the store the colors are random. I received a blue controller which would not have been my first choice. I don't know how bright the other colors are but the blue is super bright and is almost a distraction in a dark room. Overall I am pleased with this controller. While the hook of the product is that it glows and that you can see the insides it is 10 dollars (at the brick and mortar stores anyway)cheaper and it functions and operates as it should. Rating: 8/10

Great controller, great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tired of running through batteries? You will love this controller! The light feature is cool but I got the controller for the bumpers on the bottom of the controller. You can add 6 different keys to the bottom having the ability to keep your thumbs on the joysticks the whole time. LOVE THIS. This controller doesn't have the jack for a headphone adapter, however it has an added button (along with use from the D pad) that adds the same benefits of adapting your headset volumes and balancing game/player chat Some people on the reviews made me skeptical about the wires length but I sit about 7-8 feet away and still have a little slack. If you play in a living room and have a dog or children running around, may get a bit messy. Only real negative thing I have to say about this controller is that if you plan on joining a party with a headset you may have to unplug the controller and plug it back in. It will give off a LOUD screech to other players and they won't like you very much lol. *one way I found to prevent this is by creating a party and seeing if your voice give off is constant. If it is, just unplug and plug back in. Doesn't normally take more than once.

Not very good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wire is very short. It also feels as though the thing is going to break instantly. Not to mention that sometimes the lights don't work.

Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I love this controller. We bought our Xbox 360 last christmas, and we have had to take back probably 5 wireless controllers because they simply stopped working. We decided to get wired controllers to hopefully not have as many issues. We bought this one because of how reasonably priced it was (as an extra controller for when we have company). We are so happy with it! I actually prefer this one to the one wireless controller we have left... I will say that if you are playing in the dark, the light is pretty bright, but thats half the fun, but you can shut it off if needed... so no issue there. (Don't get a light up controller, then complain that it lights up... duh) As far as the sensitivity goes, neither one of us noticed a difference between the wireless and this one. We both play a variety of different games too (COD, Minecraft, GTA5, Assassins Creed, RDR, Skyrim). As far as length of the cord goes, it is fairly decent. We have a pretty small apartment, but the cord reaches all the way across the living room to the couch, and extenders are available to buy so that shouldn't be an issue either. Buy it. Its inexpensive. You will like it. If not, return it. Simple as that.

Great Controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very Please with the controller. This controler is very comfortable and very responsive and the lights are a very nice touch at night. Vibration feedback is good. Feals solid. I bought this considering i needed a controler for PC If you are going to use this on a PC. You might need to go to microsofts webpage for the driver download for windows 7 to get this to work. Or to the manufactors page. After that its all good. Its a pretty good price considering the regular xbox controler is expensive. Has very long cord makes it reach very far from tv. The lights are realy cool Overall This controler is a great bang for the buck and performs well..

Works well, cool lights
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty much just a standard control unit. Has the see through body and the cool flashing lights. I wish it was cordless, but the batteries would probably not last as long. Can't gripe too much and don't really have anything to say as a negative.

good and inexpensive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of people on here are complaining about how the sticks are either not sensitive enough or are too sensitive, and exclaiming how they suck at COD/Halo/GoW now. The sticks are a little over sensitive, and that can easily be adjusted within the game itself. I've actually seen an increase in my gameplay in COD since I started using this. At first, I was turning too fast, and aiming was a pain, but I turned down the sensitivity, and now it's perfect. The buttons are a little off, but they're a little closer together than a Microsoft one, which is actually really nice once you get used to it. They also feel great when pushed. The perfect amount of resistance. Also, since it's wired, the actual reaction time on button presses seems to be pretty quick I haven't gotten a chance to test it on MK9 yet, but the D-Pad feels like it will be perfect, as it's not as disc-like as the standard MS controller. You can actually feel the cardinal directions much better. Another thing people complain about is how bright the lights are. Um... there's a switch on the back to turn those off. *facepalm* The only gripe I have is the plastic shell. It's really durable, but can be a little slippery. All in all, a great controller for the price.
