value price and good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PDP brand controllers for XBOX 360 are pretty darn good for the price. Gamestop rebrands them to sell in their store for $25 (non After-glow type). Its a very good controller. Best 3rd party controller Ive ever used so far. Im still waiting on my Razer Onza to come in the mail and I think that will change soon. Its not better than a Microsoft brand controller. But you have to pay $10 extra for their wired controller. Anyway its very comfortable, thats always my biggest nitpick about 3rd party controllers. Original controllers rarely have that problem so I dont know how controller companies screw that one up. The analog sticks could be less sensitive. Slightly moving a microsoft controller would slightly move the screen or what ever your moving. Sometimes with the Afterglow it just jumps full speed as if you moved the stick completely to one side. But unlike the Microsoft analog sticks this controller features fantastic grip on the thumbsticks. Not as good as lets say Sony's but way nice. I just opened a fresh microsoft controller and my thumbs slip all over that thing. Buttons feel great and overall construction is high. I would skip the afterglow and get the regular version of the controller. The texturized finish is better on the normal one and youll be happier holding onto it. This controller is my main CoD controller at the moment as well and I dont do any worse.

A lot of fun for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy using these controllers. I especially like the mode where the controller vibrates and flashes light. I feel it adds to the overall gaming experience. Unfortunately, one of the controllers stopped working one month after receiving them. My Son-in Law took it apart and found the problem. One of the buttons was not set properly. He fixed the button and now it seems to be working fine.

Great Controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Found this controller to be really nice in everything that a controller needs to do: it looks cool, plays well, and it goes multi-platform (Xbox to PC). I love the design on it, and I can see how the controller does the rumble feature through the see-through casing. I tested the controller on the following games: FIFA 11, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Call of Duty 4, and Bulletstorm. Had no problems playing these games, except that I noticed the sticks being slightly sensitive while playing (mostly in Call of Duty 4), and needs a little getting used to some of the time. I'd consider this being pretty picky but the guide button and the bumper buttons could be of a slightly higher quality, but it doesn't really affect anything play-wise. Price is good too considering the Microsoft controllers are $50. Overall, I'm very glad I bought this and now have a controller for the PC.

Really nice, but flawed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got the controller recently and was very happy with the low price tag. The first thing i noticed about the controller was that it felt good in my hands, but was a little off. The layout of the buttons is off ever so slightly, just enough to become an annoyance if you play a lot. Also, the thumbsticks tended to dig into my thumbs when i played, the edges are much sharper than the ones on original controllers. The only other issue I had with it was that it was sitting on the chair when I got up for a minute, went back to playing and it vibrated for a split second and disconnected. Neither the usb or the breakaway connection was disturbed. After setting the controller back down to see if it had come slightly unplugged, it turned back on. Other than those 2 things, it seems pretty nice.

Great controller for both Xbox 360 & PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought this for my Xbox 360, but it's become my go to controller for PC gaming. Microsoft gets major props for designing their console so that the controllers work with PCs as well. I got the blue LED version. The LEDs are bright and match my backlit gaming keyboard and blue LED mouse. The controller seems very well constructed with little to no creakiness. It has a surprising amount of heft to it. My only complaint would be that the LEDs are a tad too bright. It can be distracting sometimes.

Decent for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had my controller for about a year. Its about ten bucks cheaper than the cheapest Microsoft ones. The rubber stick covers literally fell off of my controller. They have a tiny dab of glue about the size of a pen head holding them down, and if for some reason the rubber pads are torn or misshapen, like mine were, then they will most likely fall off. The triggers/bumpers feel like they could easily get stuck, and the do. My brother had his left bumper get stuck partially. You had to push it just right to get it to work. The lights are awesome to have for goofing around or showing off, but they are a bit too bright to be fun while you are seriously playing anything. I'm not sure if this is a problem with all wired controllers (the two we had were both this same Afterglow in different colors, but I was fairly certain this affects all wired controllers) or just Afterglow, but make sure to turn rumble off in games if you will be playing with a headset.

Awesome hard wired controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used this controller for about 2 months now and I love it, light weight , no batteries or recharger needed, and of course you can make it light up in whatever color you want... great for kids much cheaper than microsoft versions .. and great for hardcore gamers as a hard wired connection will mean an immediate signal where as wireless has a slight delay reaction. Finally this can be a pro or a con depending on opinion but it feels a little looser around the joy sticks good for call of duty if you turn the sensitivity up and opposite if you prefer a slower controller movement.

Good controller for mostly everyone (read review)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first got this controller, my first thought was wow. The controller is a really nice looking controller that feels good and is just overall cool. The buttons are really good and they feel just like the official Xbox controller, but the only thing that seems kind of cheap are the left and right bumpers, but they don't interfere with the game play whatsoever. The lighting system is probably the coolest part, and the Active feature works really well. Another thing I have noticed was that when playing 1st person shooter games, the 2 joysticks are really sensitive and may cause you to overshoot your target, but what I did was I went into the game controller settings and adjusted the speed or the joysticks so that it went back to normal, but overall it is a great buy because 1: its $20 dollars less than the official controller 2: it is a wired USB controller which means that you can use it on the PC as well as the Xbox and 3: since it is wired you don't have to keep buying batteries or wait for the controller to charge before you can play. Rating: 8.5 out of 10.

Great controller, with one flaw.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller for the sole purpose of gaming on my Windows computer. It works flawlessly right out of the box; just plug it into a usb port and play. It even has the rumble feature with some games, which is great. The Afterglow light system implemented into it is a neat feature, but I don't always use it. The only thing that I don't particularly care for is the texture of the controller. After a few minutes of gameplay, my hands tend to sweat, even just a little. The controller is smooth, so it makes it kind of difficult to hold on to the thing without my hands slipping all of the place on it. All in all, it's a good product.

Good wired controller but

Easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller was the first wired one that I bought and I am still using it and will be buying another one soon to have a total of 4 controllers. I like the price of it because it is cheaper that the ones by Microsoft.
