This is a very nice case. The design is well printed, and doesn't look like it will scratch off with normal use. It doesn't cover the top part close to the hinge of the 3DS, so people who are particular about colors might be disappointed (I personally liked the red and green combination with my 3DS). It doesn't add a lot of bulk to the case, so it will still fit in the same pockets and carrying cases as usual. This case is great for those who already had a 3DS XL or those who missed out on that 'blink and you miss it' special Majora's Mask edition.

they did a really good job with this case and I'm glad they fixed the design

It feels pretty secure, and there isn't anything that gets blocked off. However, it doesn't do anything to protect the hinge- the only part that really poses a danger of breakage. And while it looks really cool on the front, on the back there is a GIANT set of logos for the device, the series, and the company that made the shells, and that part is utterly hideous.

I love it because its Zelda and it fit perfect to my New Nintendo 3DS and also it feels comfortable on my hands.

I like the color, but i wish some more parts were covered by it since i can see the red on the top.

The design of the front is as good as in the picture here, and the case prevents one from accidentally hitting the power button. However, that bulkiness adds significant weight to the New 3DS XL. If you already feel like the XL is heavy, maybe reconsider this case; I doubt you need it as protection. But if you don't mind extra weight, this case is beautiful as decoration with its green color and marks of a great series.

The design is really awesome in this cover. Beside giving the 3ds a nice different loom it really does it's job. I have drop the 3ds twice now and the cover work perfectly, not a scratch or damage to the actual unit and even the covers barely got damage. It also doesn't make the system feel bulky, you barely feel the difference!

Having the limited edition Legend of Zelda New 3ds, I wanted something to protect it from scratches. This is perfect. It slips on easily and keeps it from being scratched yet allows me to play the game with confidence. You can take it off easily as well. And the design is perfect.

This green Zelda case is made really well for the price. It's sturdy and it snaps on really easily. Great for any Zelda fan out there. The case does put on a little bit of weight on the 3ds. If you are a hardcore 3ds gamer like me and end up playing more than 3 hours, it starts getting heavy in your hands with any case on versus the 3ds without anything on it. That's the only downside to it and why I gave it 4 stars. But it'll still slide in your pocket or any case normally. I was lucky enough to snatch this one off the shelf when it went on sale. Oh and if anyone has a black 3ds, it looks great on it.

Great for any Zelda fan with a New Nintendo 3DS looking to add some protection in style. Although it does add a little bit of bulk to the system, it's hardly noticeable. The main thing is that it does not feel much different at all while playing with it on. The only negative remark I can make about this is that there isn't an opening for if you have a wrist strap or some kind of key chain accessory attached to your system. You'll still be able to loop a string through, but the space was not already considered. That isn't enough to take a star off of it, though. 5/5

I wanted a case to protect my new 3DS from damage and this is perfect. It doesn't add significant bulk to the 3DS XL and stays firmly clipped on.

I snagged this for my new 3ds xl as a backup to the clear Hori Case I already had, thinking for the price, why not. When I picked it up at my local best buy though, I was shocked at how cool the design was. The almost metallic silver etching along with the dark forest green really worked well together. Not only did it look amazing, but it's great for adding a layer of protection to my 3ds as well. I'd highly recommend this if you're in the market for a protective shell for your 3ds.

Fits well, looks nice. Doesn't get in the way of playing the system, and so far has done its job to protect my 3DS.

Glad to see they fixed the logo, now it's worth it

I missed out on getting the MM N3DS so this Zelda case was the best alternative. The case is very sturdy, clips onto the N3DS easily, fits snugly and leaves the L ZL R ZR buttons and ports, slots etc perfectly accessible. It also doesn't make the system too bulky at all, which is great as it still fits just fine inside of my carrying case. I would definitely recommend it for any Zelda fan.

Perfect fit, great color, and not too bulky. Worth the price.

I have purchased other cases made for the Nintendo XL 3DS and they have been returned as the fit was awful. Purchased this one and fit without any trouble. It has not scratched the system itself and it looks like the one pictured on the website. Beautiful dark green color. All button holes line up exactly where the open slots should.

This is the best way, in my opinion to protect your 3DSXL. It's stylish, if you're in to the Legend of Zelda Series, and it offers good protection and fits well. The plastic is sturdy and will do the job well. The only drawback is how big the text on the back is. I would prefer if there wasn't any, and didn't know before buying it.

It does its job to protect, but the part you can't see in the packaging is hidden for a reason. It's absolutely atrocious back cover with all of the huge unsightly logos makes me wish it was just a plain back cover rather than all the marketing logos and all . I wish I never opened it, then it would remain pretty. This does not permit the Hori DuraFlexi case to fix over it to protect the top cover artwork.

I was bummed I couldn't find the Zelda themed 3DS but this cover makes up for that. It add very little bulk and completely protects the 3DS. All ports are also accessible.
