    They work good to provide protection, but the little that I've played with the unit in handheld mode, the rubber sleeves feel like they want to pull away from the joycon and you have to re-adjust or pull them back on every once in a while. It makes the -/+ buttons harder to press as well, they're more flush with these applied where they protrude when a sleeve is not applied.

    the grips are nice and the thumb sticks are decent how ever with the grips on you cannot snap into controller base to use on the tv.

    If they fit tight they are great. The thumb stick cover is a must. I don't actually use the Joy_Con covers because they seem to get in my way and as they are soft on your hands, they just feel kind of slippery. If you use them while attached to your Switch they are amazing!

    The grips appear to be made of great quality but they become absolutely useless when they consistently come off of the analogs. They are easy to install and again they seem to be of great quality but just not functioning the way they should be.
