Customers express satisfaction with the Media Remote for PlayStation 4's ease of use and convenient size. However, some users find the placement of certain buttons to be problematic, leading to accidental presses. Concerns were also raised regarding the remote's battery consumption rate. The small size is considered a positive by some, while others find the button layout less than ideal for their hands.

I use this remote with rechargeable batteries. This has been great to save the controller’s batteries when only watching movies or shows.

Great alternative to the PS4 controller. Saves the battery on your other controllers by using this one to watch Netflix or Hulo. Simple and easy to use.

Works well for the cost. Much easier than using the PS controller.

Get rechargeable batteries, if you have that this is great, if not you’ll be annoyed

As a remote control, this works great. However this thing goes through batteries far faster than any other device I own. I wish they had used the same rechargeable batteries they had used in their controllers. If you get this, consider getting some rechargeable batts.

This remote worked when I first got it, programmed it to our TV, all fine. Then, next time I tried to use it, nothing. It is apparently still synced to the PS4, since the PS button will bring me back to the main menu, and occasionally the "option" button will respind, but that's it. I could even program it to control our replacement TV, but it's useless as far as the PS4 is concerned. And I already have a remote for the TV, so I don't need it for that. Total waste of time and money.

It was working great for 2 months. Then the batteries died and any new batteries doesn't get it to work again. Swapped out 3 sets of batteries seeing maybe it was their fault.
It doesn't even show up under the list of paired units for PS4.
