The Good; Sticks, out box stick tension, braided usb-c cord, trigger/button response, Dolby Atmos, low controller noise while playing, app, ease of use face plates and attachments, good for average and smaller hands. The Bad; Noticed no legit difference compared to other wired controllers in regards to latency, No Dolby Atmos without using Gambit controller, sound quality can be matched with quality headphones (with or some without amp ex: Beyerdynamic) trigger stop adjustments are questionable in quality and usage. The Ugly; Marketing is on top of their game with this controller. And that's not really a good thing when they add gimmicks. The controller is $99, so cost to make it is less for sake of profit (understandably so). Unfortunately, I believe more money went into marketing and gimmicks, the box, and case than the controller itself. Which leaves me to question the quality and durability in long term use. But that part could be resolved with an added warranty from Geek Squad. The End; In conclusion, for price and whatever your own preferences are, the Victrix Gambit is not bad overall for people that don't already have a good controller you can wire up in addition to quality headsets.

Great controller for the price, super low latency, great quality. After 2 weeks use i started feeling friction on the trigger but aside from that its great and is comfortable. Thumbstick options are ok and gril is okay, triggers are super sensitive which is great for some games. You just need to rest your finger and the triggers will pick it up. Super responsive controller and buttons.

First of all, the controller is uncomfortable to hold for just a short period of time. My hands actually started to hurt, and I felt like I was holding a small rectangular box with analog sticks. The controller is not contour enough like the other brands to feel more comfortable and can cause pain. The left & right handles are too narrow in some areas of the design in which cause me to squeeze a little harder just to hold the controller, and I have big hands. The RB & LB bumper buttons stick out a little too far, can be difficult to reach during intense gameplay, and are not flush with the trigger buttons in which affects the finger response travel time in between presses with the trigger buttons. Also, if the triggers are going to be that sensitive at least have an option to set the trigger stops to 1.5mm travel distance with mouse click buttons. The recessed 2 button, 4 button paddle design is very comfortable though, and perfectly positioned, but the 4 button paddle layout needs individual slightly raised buttons for each paddle for a more tactical feel. Also, the membrane (garbage) used for the paddle button feature makes it feel too mushy, and slow responding. The paddle buttons should have mouse click buttons instead for all 4 paddle buttons. Overall, this controller is still stuck in concept mode, and not quite ready for prime time. Victrix is mostly known for their fighting arcade stick, and this is the first attempt at making a pro controller. They are not a bad company, and I give them credit for a good first attempt. I love all the accessories that's included, but that tall analog stick is way too tall, and I have big hands. Maybe include 3 different sizes next time like a small, medium, and large. Hopefully, some of my complaints will be addressed in a version 2. Good luck Victrix, but I have to return your controller now.

Overall a decent controller, responsive and smoother than a typical xbox controller. Once you know how to set the volume through the controller & assign buttons/paddles - it's a no brainer but took me awhile to figure it out. I returned the controller as it wasn't a great fit for me specifically, felt bulky and wanted to go another route. Solid product though, would recommend others to try it out.

I really like this controller. read online that this is supposed to be the worlds fastest controller, but I would have to say that it depends on the type of game you play. However, it’s a really good controller nonetheless. i’ve seen a difference between my elite controller compared to this one when playing COD, where my aim is faster, for instance. I also really like how the grips and buttons and all of that are interchangeable, allowing me to customize the controller anyway I’d like. Personally, I think you are perfectly fine if you have an elite controller. To me I haven’t really seen a humongous difference, but I think it might just take more time of me playing with it to see one, but other than that if you do have an elite, I wouldn’t say it’s much of a need to switch over to this one.

First of let me say this is a very good controller, especially at $99, I prefer it over the Elite 2. The response feels great! Has all the bells and whistles one needs if you're looking for the extras that help significantly. This is literally the only controller (and i have them ALL) that you can set your in game dead zone to 0 without any drift (Apex Legends as a test). Every other controller brand new out of the box you need atleast a 5-10 dead zone. The controller has 2 faceplates, a plastic white plate (that has 2 interchangeable stop rings (circle\ hexi) that you can swap out. The 2nd is a really smooth purple rubber like material (feels great but has a downfall sadly). While the white plastic plate snaps perfectly in place, the purple faceplate tends to come undone in areas like the bottom points of the controller. Its not a huge deal, more just a picky annoyance. The controller has 2 swappable back options for the programable buttons, a 4 paddle or a 2 paddle option. Thats a pretty cool option to be honest. They feel pretty good but not as good as an elite. The paddles are in a great spot but a bit tougher to press compared to an elite. It almost hurts in a stretching way using them. That could just be me though. Where I take a star off is, something about the thumb sticks not always reaching full potential when you are pressing up/down/left or right. You can even test this and see it on their App. The test shows you filling up a circle and sometimes when you do it, the very outside layers dont fully fill up (without having to really jam hard), meaning you're not hitting the maximum level of the direction you push. So what does this mean or effect? When I'm pushing up to run in say Apex Legends, its not registering or it sputters. Once in awhile a recalibration in the app works to help fix the issue but it keeps coming back. I do notice it more with the purple face plate. Its possible the built in thumbstops are too small, not allowing you to reach full utilization without having to seriously crank hard on the up press. The other thing that is slightly annoying but you get used to it eventually is the short trigger stops are SUPER SENSITIVE. You will absolutely randomly fire your gun 100x before you learn to keep your finger away from it. Some could say its a positive also cause you fire that quick lol. Its 50/50 love hate for me. Overall I do love the controller! Id easily give it 5 stars if not for a few annoyances. I bought 2, hopefully the 2nd one doesnt have the thumbstick issue. If not, I'll change this to 5 stars/great. Id definitely give this controller a shot if you are looking for an elite 2 type controller but want to save $50-75 dollars.

This is very good starter for gamers who want to get into pro controllers but don’t want to pay premium for the other brands out there. The response time is awesome with no lag or delay when pressing buttons. Perfect for FPS games.

Theyre good trigger stoppers but arent mouse click and that would be good. You can litterly replace any possible thing on this controller. Dont be worried to but open box. Its only 40 dollars but it litterly comes out the box in a new box. It even smells new.

Only 5 stars because its theee best controller ive used and ive use turtle beach recon. battlepack pro wired for the stock xbox series S/X. the paddles are the best on the gambit. i mainly play For Honor - and its a night and day difference between a wireless controller and one wired like the vicrtrix BUT the right joystick is defective and i dont know how to get it replace. contacted they through the xbox app but still no response. i wont play for honor without this controller. the input latency / input lag is so noticable its incredible. i thought it was my internet cuz i couldnt dodge or black. nope. its my wireless slow response time controller. i reached out out to PDP and victrix but no response, if i had the money id go buy itright now,.

I love how much wuicker it makes response times on the left and right trigger. The controller is comfortable, and the silicon cover makes for a smoother feel.
