    Best Travel Tripod

Absolutely fantastic! Coming from a three legged things carbon fiber tripod, I was worried that the added weight wouldn't make up for the smaller footprint. Boy was I wrong. The peak design tripod fits into my water bottle sling on my backpack, meaning I don't have to figure out some way to strap my tripod to my back everytime I go out to shoot. For me, the smaller profile and speed of deployment is a massive usability upgrade for me and worth the weight cost. The only tripod that I could see myself upgrading to in the future is the carbon fiber version of this same tripod.

BEST TRIPOD YOU CAN GET. Light, sturdy. And if you are in the Peak Design Ecosystem, its a no brainer. The Carbon Fiber is expensive, but worth it for travel photography

This tripod is absolutely worth it. I use it for content creation and it has everything I could ask. The swivel head can tilt completely sideways, its easy to pack up and break down, and super small but feels sturdy! I love the thoughtful features put into it like the hex key that locks into the tripod in case you need to put on/take off the plate.

Great tripod but not for real estate/panoramic.

Great & sleek design. Really sturdy tripod. Would give it a 5-star had it not been for the tripod head design. As a real estate photographer, the tripod head doesn't have a pan only option which is not the best when trying to do panoramic/360 degree real estate shots.

This is a great travel tripod. Quality is high. Easy to use. Looks great too. It would be nice if it were a bit lighter but I guess I could’ve gotten the Carbon model to save weight.

This is one of the best tripod I've ever used. It is small enough to carry around. I was able to just stick the tripod into my backpack and go. Overall, the tripod is on par with some of the other professional tripods that cost more than $1000. There is a cellphone adaptor that you can use the tripod with any mobile phone. The adaptor is built into the tripod so you don't have to carry another accessory and risk losing it. However, it is a little steep in price at $599. But hey, if you got the money, what the heck not!

I've been waiting for this tripod for months and it finally arrived since I had to pre-order it. By far, this is the best tripod to own because of the amazing features that it has to offer. Yes, its a bit expensive but this tripod will last for rest of life and I'll never need to buy another one. I'm a BIG fan of the Peak Design family of products since I have a number of them for my camera. You can't go wrong with this product.

A serious tripod for the serious photographer. I went with the carbon fiber material over the aluminum, as I will be taking lots of lengthy exposure photography and want to limit the vibrations best I can. This is an expensive piece of gear, but may be worth it if you plan to take photographs requiring limited vibrations. This tripod is extremely compact and fits on the side pockets of most backpacks. It unfolds in a matter of seconds and within a minute you are ready to compose your shot.

The Thought, design and engineering that went into This tripod is amazing. By far my favorite I have ever owned. What is best is how quick it sets up and only having one “knob” to turn to adjust. Having the built in mobile phone holder is a great addition. Very stable. Not substantially lighter than other aluminum tripods. When collapsed it fits in your bags water bottle holder and slides in and out so easy due to nothing sticking out on it. Overall it’s great.

I had a lot of people tell me this isn't going to hold up for pro use. If youre expecting to use a heavy system on this, I suppose its not for you but other than that... this tripod has been a new favorite of mine. Built better than it looks online. everything that I thought was cheap/plastic looking online turned out to be metal. One of my favorite tools added to my gear has been this tripod.
