Good tripod, better than the Ulanzi. The tripod has a wider spread and doesnt slip as much as a competitor Ulanzi. It's also more compact but a little heavier. The build is solid.

High quality and compact although it’s not light weight but not heavy either. The biggest con for me is I think it should weight less around 2 lbs vice 2.81 lbs. Another con is the price. Way too expensive.

Love the compact design, attention to detail, and overall weight. I can say that this tripod is not 'light' but definitely lighter than majority of tripods, I would only buy if you can swing the Carbon Fiber version. Overall really like it!

Best tripod I could’ve purchased!! Light weight, easy to stretch out & put back together. When my camera is on tripod, it feels soooo safe! It ain’t going anywhere!!.... plus it’s super super easy to click on & off the mount. 10000% you won’t be disappointed

A couple of years ago I upgraded to a Nikon D850 with a battery grip and just recently purchased the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8E. The unit was too heavy for my current tripod so I researched what was on the market that could handle the weight, be stable, yet compact, and able to handle Arca-Swiss plates without having to purchase an additional head. It is as compact as everyone describes and is easy to set-up, use, and tear-down. It was very stable to hold my camera and lens all day and allowed my wife to even take pictures of the birds around her feeder and bath. She typically gets tired trying to hand hold it for long durations and this allowed her to essentially just push a button and take the pictures herself.

This is a well-built streamlined product. Heavier than the carbon fiber version, this was exactly what I needed for my astrophotography hobby. Peak Design is a beast!!!

Expensive and a little heavy.. But the compactness is as advertised!! I was hesitant to purchase this at first due t the price, but it's really hard to go back to a traditional tripod after this one. I got this mainly for the size along with convenience of the tripod head, and not having to purchase a quick-release plate, because it basically comes with one already. I also don't need an L-Plate for MOST uses.

This is an excellent full-featured tripod in a very small package. You buy this tripod for its small size and weight. Because of its small size I am now taking a tripod with me to more places allowing me to capture more images when a tripod is needed.

This is light, compact, and easy to use. Though it is light it is also sterdy. It may be pricey, but it is certainly worth it.

I love this tripod! I am new at night photos and blurring my image of running water. This light-weight tripod will allow me to expand my skills as a photographer hobbiest.

Very innovative tripod. Very pricey but worth it. Sturdy, slim and fits in my peak design everyday 30L backpack perfectly. Made with quality and looks very Sleek. No complaints except for the price but its worth it

As is Peak Design, this tripod is impeccably designed. Everything about it is easy to use, easy to control with one hand, and it's sure and stable. The ball head is so simple and locks tight, and the tripod is steady as a rock.

Designed to be compact and lightweight, the goal of this tripod is to be portable, hence its name, "Travel Tripod." This innovative tripod lives up to its goal. This tripod will lighten my photography kit, while improving my still shots.

I needed a reliable tripod that I can use for work. I heard about Peak Design for some time now and I use some of their other products. This tripod definitely helps my productivity and workflow while being out in the field. The downside is the weight in contrast to its carbon fiber sibling, which costs more than this version. I think that's the trade-off, rather have a heavy tripod than spend extra money. Overall I highly recommend this tripod if you need to upgrade from your cheap $50 tripod you had for five years to something that can hold up with your outdoor-rugged photo/film shoots.

Expensive, but it’s the most compact tripod I’ve been able to find for traveling. Center column could be more stable when using heavier lenses (eg the Sony 70-200 GM), but it does well otherwise. I’m a fan of flip locks vs twist, and I appreciate that these are metal whereas some manufacturers still insist on plastic. The value you place on compactness and weight will determine how good a value this is for you.

So far so good! love the build quality and every about it. Wish was a little lighter. But couldn't justify the carbon fiber pricing. Very flexible design. Can't loose with Peak Design products!
