Strong but not designed well for Sony A7R3

Strong and gives a sense of security that your camera will not detach if it starts to fall due to losing grip on your camera. However, it is not designed well for the Sony A7R3 because it causes the attachment buckle on the A7R3 to rise and painfully grind into your forefinger when walking around. It is also difficult to detach from your wrist unless you have both hands free which is often not the case while photographing. I would recommend that anyone considering purchasing this strap try it before purchasing. The problems I am reporting may influence your decision,

I had been using the neck strap that came with my camera, but this is so much better! It's comfortable and sturdy on my wrist and makes carrying around my camera much easier!

I love how it takes pressure off my wrists when shooting, leaving more hand freedom for directing and positioning items/subjects when needed. I feel confident that I'll never have it slip or fall with its secure latches.

First time I've used a wrist strap for my camera rather than a neck strap. It's so convenient & makes sightseeing so much easier! Good quality construction, taking the camera off the strap is easy!

It is sturdy and well built, but it is not comfortable to wear. The strap digs into my wrist and cinches tighter. Just have to be mindful to not put too much force on the strap.

I have been using peak design for years and love the interchangeability with this product. The wrist strap works well, could be wider, but the sturdiness of the build and the quality is great. using this on my full frame with battery grip helps shave off some weight from using a peak design sling strap

Purchased this product and installed the anchor onto my camera. Works really well. Fits tight on my wrist and doesn't get loose until you physically loosen the wrist strap. Very sturdy in my opinion. I'd recommend this product to my Friends and Family.

this is the first peak design strap system i've ever purchased. i've always noticed the little red anchor links on other peoples cameras online, without realizing what it was lol. I'm the type of guy that wraps the neck strap about 3 times around my wrist and carries my camera in hand at all times. i've tried about 3 or 4 different wrist straps and this is by far my favorite wrist strap. It comes with two anchor links. I put on my Fuji XT2 and another on my ole Fuji X100s. they are easy to tie on and they clamp on to the wrist strap very easy and securely. I love that I can buy anchor links separately for use on other camera bodies or to replace as they wear out. They are very strong, my camera weighs at least 3 pounds with my favorite lens attached and it hangs securely from my wrist. The wrist strap tightens around your wrist quite securely and comfortably.

I got this wrist strap to use in combination with my other Peak Design accessories (Slide strap & Capture Clip), and the entire setup I have now is really slick. The slide strap came with an arca compatible plate, where you attach one anchor, which I can now attach either the slide strap or this wrist strap! This lets me swap quickly between carrying systems when on the go. Adding the Capture Clip, which also utilizes the arca plate, to my backpack strap or belt, now gives me a 3rd option. The strap is well-made, with smooth, seatbelt style material and leather accent. The strap and the anchor attachment both feel strong and secure, so I never worry about the safety of my camera. I even trust this strap with my D850. Of course, that is a beast of a camera to hang from your wrist, and I don't use this strap on it most of the time, but it's an example on how solid the strap is. The Peak Design wrist strap is more suited for mirrorless cameras, and I can swing my a6000 from this strap all day without any worries. The strap is a little on the narrow side for my preference, but it's probably not an issue for most people. I'd just rather have a nice wide cuff to provide more support when the camera is hanging. The narrow strap just digs in to my meaty wrist if I let go of the camera, even with something as light as the a6000. The loop slide glides smoothly on the strap, so if you drop your camera, it will snap tight instantly and you will not have to worry about your camera slipping off your wrist. Now, Peak Design made this strap pretty stylish, too. I have no problem wearing like a bracelet when my camera is stowed to free my hands. There is a magnet inside the strap that will hold the clip when not attached to an anchor, turning it into a nice little fashion statement. BUT... the magnet is not very strong, so the slightest bump will detach the clip, and now you have the strap just flopping around. Other than that design flaw and my preference for a wider cuff, this strap is perfect!
