Great outdoor TV! Great brightness. We placed under a roof on our deck, so it is full protected from weather conditions. We connected an older Roku stick to test the picture and it is great. We also tested with a 4K Apple TV and it was even better! 34 degrees F and TV turned on immediately. To enhance the audio, we have connected powered outdoor speakers through the 1/8" audio output to RCA cables to XLR cables; not seen. We use hard-wire connections whenever possible to ensure clean audio / reduce opportunities for spotty bluetooth connections & frustrated viewers. We also did this to allow for louder volumes with groups of people, especially when the actors are speaking low while viewing outdoors. This is probably the ONLY downfall of this TV as it should allow for switching the audio output from this option to the internal speaker, especially since the output jack is behind the TV and enclosed in a protected area of the TV. So far so good and will post a review after a few months of ownership.

Very happy with our purchase so far. Granted, it will not be the very highest quality picture/motion but it looks good and works great for what we needed. At the much lower cost (more than $1000 less!) than other 65" outdoor tvs, we think the quality is good. We did not use the included mount because we needed the tv to have full motion to pull out and turn towards our pool. The only thing that I would call out is the edge lighting does create small light "spot" around the border. Much more visible when viewing at night when it's dark. Just a little distracting but nothing that would make steer anyone away from this tv. If you are looking for an outdoor tv at a great price and perfect motion graphics is not a must - this tv will be great for you.

This TV is perfect on our patio! We had a non outdoor tv that would shut off after 5 mins of watching. This one is sealed, great color and sound and a high quality TV at an exceptional price!!

We bought this TV to be installed on the outside house wall (stucco), under a slatted pergola. The purchase was easy. We were happy the TV came with its own mount. Delivery was easy. We had an electrician install an outlet behind the TV prior to installation. We purchased the Total Tech plan and the Geek Squad came out and installed the TV without any issues. One of the reviewers had mentioned having all of your cable connections made before mounting the TV, since once you mount it, it is very difficult to access the covered back panel. That was a great tip! This TV isn't a smart TV, but that was easily solved with an Amazon Fire Stick. We got our Fire Stick all set up before the TV was installed to make sure it was working properly and all of our apps were set up. We also purchased a cable from Amazon that allows you to power your Fire Stick directly from the TV, which means one less cable coming out of the TV and into an outlet. The cable is called "Made for Amazon, USB Power Cable (Eliminates the Need for AC Adapter)" and is ~$20. So worth it! The picture itself is fabulous, crisp and vibrant. I agree with other viewers that depending on your space, a sound bar or sound system of some sort would enhance your experience. I am also attaching pictures from the user manual that shows how the ports are set up. Highly, highly recommend.

Recently purchased and installed a Peerless-AV Neptune 65" shade series outdoor 4k UHD TV - decided to go with a bigger TV due to the very competitive pricing. It is very well built and is a quality unit! The picture is great! Easy installation for the wall mounted bracket (that was included!). Really like the quality of the remote - it is not a small, cheap one. Would highly recommend!! Looking forward to many years of TV watching on our patio in Phoenix!

Amazing picture at a great price. I was looking at purchasing a regular indoor television and just putting it into a outdoor enclosure before I found the Peerless Neptune Shade series TV. The features and price point on the Peerless make it a no brainer. I will be purchasing another soon for another location in our backyard this week.

Ive been really happy with this purchase! Great sound and audio - no need for a Soundbar, unless you really want to blast the audio, but we haven't had a need. Its pricey but so nice to just keep it outside year-round and not worry about humidity, cold, etc. Very glad we got it. We got a Roku with it to stream Spectrum TV and that has worked perfectly. It even has a little cubby in the back to store a streaming device. Ive loved watching football outside the fall....can even stream Red Zone. I bought the "Full-Motion Tilt" mount (from Peerless AV) so I could move the TV around a bit - works really, really well. I paid to have it installed professionally - no issues at all.

I did a lot of research on the outdoor TVs. Even considered getting a regular TV with an enclosure. But because of the Neptune Series price point. I decided to go ahead and get this tv. I will have it under our enclosed porch which is protected from rain and the direct sun on a Moveable tv stand so that we can use it for multiple applications including tailgaiting.

We bought this unit for our backyard remodel to go above a new fireplace. We just finished, and got the unit installed. We ran coaxial cable, but ended up using a Roku to stream content. After a few mis-steps on our side with the IR extender, we got the unit mounted powered up, and we're off and running in about 1.5 hours. The water proof IO compartment on the back is great and houses the Roku stick. It comes with a glass window and plastic hole which seems to allow remote signals to get through. We're going to try it for a few weeks without any additional speakers, but so far it seems pretty great. The one suggestion I have is to add a bit more in the instructions about getting everything setup prior to hanging it.

I've never owned an outdoor TV before so I wasn't sure what to expect or what to look for in one. But it didn't really matter anyway. Peerless/Neptune made it easy with the picture and sound quality. We just finished building our new deck in the backyard and the privacy we get from the greenbelt directly behind us and directly to the right of us makes it easy to enjoy this TV without bothering any neighbors. So far so good, very happy with the purchase!

Perfect picture for outside. We previously had a non outdoor tv outside and it was hard to see the picture. I was not sure about purchasing a tv I could not see in person at the store but did not want to spend 3 times as much as the one on display. We watch a lot of sports outside and I am completely satisfied with this tv and the picture quality!!

This tv is the best value for a true outdoor tv. The quality is great but is intended for a covered area from the sun to reduce glare. The setup is easy and remote is very robust. The screen itself is from LG so picture quality is great and the speakers in the unit itself provides decent sound. You will not be disappointed with this tv

TV installation was easy and connecting it to a Firestick 4K was seamless. The picture quality is better than expected and the speakers are plenty loud for outdoors on the patio! We are very happy with this TV and would recommend the Peerless Neptune 65 to anyone looking for a good quality outdoor TV.

This TV has exceeded my expectations. The picture is super clear. The package was shipped very secure and delivered right to my pool house. It will be used all year!

Pros: reasonable price, good quality. Picture quality is bright. Cons: no wifi or smart software, remote does not control roku. Overall excellent.

This TV was installed about 1 week ago. Picture looks nice. Overall, I'm happy with it. However, as the name implies, this is a "shade series" TV and seemingly has only a little glare protection. My neighbor's white house provides a glare on about half of the TV when the sun is out

We are very pleased this far with our purchase. The packaging for shipping was very secure. We appreciated the wall mount included in the box. Only advice would be to make sure to hook everything up before mounting on a wall or you will have to take it down to access the panel. Color and sound have been good thus far. The photo included is from about 35-40 feet away. I thought I would need to add a sound bar, but it the sound is better than I expected. Only real issue we had was with the delivery company failing to call and schedule our special order delivery upon its arrival in town. I ended up picking it up from there warehouse which wasn’t too far down the road. Feeling good about our purchase!

I've known the Peerless brand for many, many years. I've used their excellent wall brackets to mount my TVs in the past. I was excited to see they've moved into the outdoor TV manufacturing now. First off, it's a very solid product. It was easy to hang with the included mount. All the hardware is stainless steel and should not corrode. Secondly, it was easy to setup and configure. I was surprised to find that I was able to pair it right away to my Comcast remote. Thirdly, it has a fantastic picture. Even on Standard video setting, the picture is bright enough to see in sunlight. Lastly, the audio from the included speakers is very good and of high quality. I'm an audiophile as well as videophile and found the bass which can be lacking in TV speakers to be solid. Overall, I highly recommend the TV. The price is very good and it's a very good value.
