I haven't had this case for long but I know it will be more protective than the soft-sided duffle bag I had to use for some of my camera gear. I have had my eye on a Pelican case for several years now and finally had the funds to buy one. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. If you follow professional photographer Gary Hughes, he has demonstrated how he uses this case as a portable apple box and stool. It does the job and keeps your gear safe. He also said he dropped it (accidentally) down a flight of stairs and all his gear was ok. I don't plan to test this out but it makes me feel better should something like that happen. The one potential downside I see is the plastic wheels but only time will tell how well they hold up. Additionally, the Pelican Air is supposed to fit as a carry on for travel which was also important to me in case I ever need to fly with my gear.

The Pelican Air 1535 is a must have if you travel frequently with any kind of gear you want to keep protected . The case is also the perfect size and meets the requirements for flight carry on . The new air series is also 30-40% lighter than the previous models which does make a huge difference . The 1535 is the replacement for the 1510 and comparing them side by side the weight is very noticeable . The trekPak divider system is a very easy way to organize the case and much nicer than using the Pick & Pluck foam . I would give this case a 10/ 10 and highly recommend it . It was very nice and convenient being able to pick these up in my local Best Buy store .

Ever since I bought a pelican case, its the only brand that i trust for protecting my camera gear. I have two Nikon D810 bodies, along with a 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 85 1.4 and a few extra cables and such in there will left over space for more. This case is rugged and protects from all the elements. I have tested dropping it into a pool with my equipment inside (YES I TRUST IT THAT MUCH) and it floats! Makes me that more confident when i have it loaded on my works rescue boats. PELICAN LEVEL SECURITY IS THE BEST. I own two of these cases and various others in different sizes.

This was surprisingly easy to set up. The pieces to cut up into the luggage were practically foolproof and my luggage was super secure. I was so glad I got this for my camera equipment! Best of all... I didn't have to check this! Perfect carry on size and surprisingly lightweight.

Super pricy but this is a well made item. The inserts are foam covered plastic and do a good job protecting the contents. The foam looks to be of good quality and hopfully will last a long time.

This case is an amazing product. This case protects all my camera gear & I don't have to worry about them when their not in use or when traveling. The inserts were very easy to put together & inserted into the case. I was able to design the inserts to the way I wanted to & I can change them a different way down the road if I wanted to. Very please with this case.

I keep three Nikon bodies as well as 4 lenses in this case, and feel they are very secure and safe. I’ve long been a fan of Pelican cases.

I have the original version of this case and now have the lighter version. They are great, durable workhorses for transporting gear.

The wheels make it so convenient to move your product around. Hard case protects all the contents perfectly!

This case is the best quality to protect the most valuable cameras and accessories. Great to take on planes and easy to transport.

I love these cases and being able to get them at best buy just made my life easier!!! It was exactly what I needed to hold what I was purchasing. Normally I would order them of Amazon, but having it available at Best Buy couldn't have been more ideal!!

Hard cover case, and water proof, name tag . This case is a carryon which makes it easy for transportation.

Pelican products are water tight, so we shall see how it performs in a high humidity environment.

this is a great case and trekpak combo. be aware the normal trekpak dividers for this case are 5" deep with different foam. it appears that Best Buy utilized the original foam and used 4" dividers. this isn't a big deal but causes the case to not be as deep.

This case worked great on my recent trip! It held a lot of my gear and was easy to wheel around through the airport and even on the planes. Nice & sturdy!

I have used this a few times to take medical testing equipment on the plane, and it's been great. Really stands the test of travel!

This item is better than described, currently considering a second one since it Full filled my expectations.

It looks like this case will withstand just about anything! Will be flying with it.
