We saw this movie in the theater and it tickled everyone of all ages in the family. We just love these penguins and this movie is a winner! If you liked the Madagascar movies or the penguins of Madagascar cartoon then you should love this! It is the penguins origin story and a great addition to our family movie collection.

This production has superb animation, clever and humorous dialogue for each of the characters. We greatly enjoyed the 3D effects. Accolades go out to the creators and technicians who put this project together. Experiencing this entertainment was definitely worthwhile. In fact, we are looking forward to enjoying this movie multiple times.

The penguins are back and funny as ever tough like Toy Story, they try to handle some bigger issues. I don't think they handled it as well as the Toy Story movies, but still is a great movie with a lot of the old penguin charm from the other Madagascar movies series. My 4 yr old daughter liked the movie, and it proved to be a good purchase.

I bought this as a gift and it sat on our shelf for a year before we finally watched it. We haven't laughed that hard in a long time. This movie is a monthly movie night us. To us this movie is hilarious. Easy to buy and fast delivery.

If these little guys aren't in trouble of some kind, they'll go looking for it, and find it they do in this motion picture. You can't help but marvel at the ingenuity they demonstrate, but most importantly, at their undying loyalty and friendship. It has a great lesson for young and old alike. But don't watch it without a bag of Cheetos!

While the "Madagascar" movies weren't bad, I always felt that the Penguins helped make the movies (like the Minions make the Despicable Me movies). The ill-advised cartoon aside, I felt that "Penguins" hit every note to make a great animated movie! It will never be considered in the realm of a Disney classic, but it is very entertaining!

So funny, didn't expect it from this type of movie. All in all, really well done and a lot of fun. Great family movie with enough content to keep adults engaged. Alot of screwball comedy here and there but still keeps things interesting. Definitely worth a watch especially if you like animated films. Check it out, you won't be sorry.

Come on, you'll love these guys! It's a fun loving movie, done with a lot of heart. The quality looks fantastic, as it should. I purchased the Blu-ray. I would've purchased the 3-D one but, I still don't know the 3-D TV. I think that anybody who enjoy these penguins in the Madagascar movies, should love this one. It's wacky!

I'm typically not the biggest fan of animated movies but there are of course a few that I do enjoy... the Madagascar movies are some of those movies I like and since the Penguins were stars of those films, I figured this one would be worth watching, I was correct. This movie is pretty entertaining and fun for pretty much the whole family. The silliness is what I enjoyed about the flick.

I liked the merchandising and that's why I bought it. I wanted blu ray and dvd forms if I was going to buy it and that helped me decide to get this form of the movie. I don't like the blu+ digital or dvd plus digital con where they leave one of the discs out. wanted the digital form so it could be watched on tablet on a plane.

Saw Madagascar ? Then you will agree that these four birds deserved their own movie. The story feels very much like a James Bond spoof, and I like it even more because of that. I am a Bond fan, and we watched this with the whole family and could not stop laughing from start to end. Maybe a little pricy, but so worth it...

I haven't got a good laugh in a while and I really enjoyed this film. Especially those puns (Nicholas,"cage" them! , Drew, Barry, More power!).. Anyway, good moral, the story's pretty good..i think it just goes to say that the penguins can really stand on their own and not just extras for the other animals from Madagascar..

Funny and great for kids of all ages. This movie has some adult humor mixed in with the children's so that everyone will enjoy the movie and the animation is fast paced. My family has enjoyed this numerous times since we have bought this movie and continues to watch on "movie night" on Saturday's with our entire family.

A great movie that keeps you laughing throughout the entire movie. It's an awesome escape movie that does what the best of animated movies do and that is to let us escape into a world of make believe with characters who make us laugh(hopefully) and sometimes cry. A great movie for young and not so young alike.

The puns and jokes fly from the flightless birds, out on their own in the movies, and are meant for all ages to enjoy. The story is a little scattered, but Skipper, Kowalski, Private and Rico keep things moving to a satisfying ending. Like the old Warner cartoons, many of the jokes will make the kids laugh, but are aimed at adults. Watch it with your kids and enjoy.

Me and my whole family loved this movie. It is a non-stop laugh! The little wind up penguins are cheap junk, but I didn't expect them to be more than cheap junk. One broke after the 2nd use. That did not take away from how great the movie is. I got the toys free so it didn't bother me that they broke.

Finally the Penguins from the popular Madagascar series in their very own absolutely ridiculous movie. The pacing and humor is closer to the Saturday morning cartoon show, full of silly exploits for the kiddies and some subtle humor for the parents. Critics have been overly harsh, it is after all a silly movie targeted at Cheesy Dibble eating children everywhere.

Penguins of Madagascar (Blu-ray/DVD)(Digital Copy) was purchased my daughter who loves all animated animal movies. If you've followed the Madagascar movies you'll know who the Penguins are. Great movie, kid friendly, and adults may enjoy it also...well at least for the first dozen times...ha

The VERY best part of all the Madagascar Movies was the Penguins, and they have their very own movie!!! Why haven't you bought this yet?!?! I wish they had the Penguins Series available as a whole and not just a few episodes at a time, I would buy the cr@pout of those!!!

This movie was hilarious. From the opening joke about the best part of owning a circus to the over the top finale it's played for fun and loaded with laughs. Adults and kids will love this one and the pace is just right. Enjoy a great time. This is what comedy cartoon films are all about.
