This review is a direct comparison between Persona 3: FES (2007) vs Persona 3: Reload (2024). Overall, Reload dropped the ball on many aspects that made Persona 3 worth remaking to begin with. Things Persona 3 FES does better than Reload: 1. Story 2. Script/Dialog (about 80% has been changed in Reload. The new translation is void of soul, fun, charm, interpersonal conflict) 3. Character Personalities (Junpei, Yukari, etc) 4. Anime Cutscenes 5. Darker Tone 6. Music (both arrangement and mixing) 7. Sound Design (much more raw and heavy) 8. Voice Acting (it's not even close dude) 9. Difficulty (Reload battles are a joke) 10. Body language between characters during dialog Things Reload does better than FES at: 1. QOL updates 2. Faster traversal through city 3. Menu UI 4. Nice extra content 5. Social Links *Stuff that is a tie * 1.The battle system UI and updates 2. Graphics (Reload feels somewhat cheap and weightless. It's more on brand with the low budget modern Digimon games than Persona 5) Many people don't know that Reload changed about 85% of the script from P3 FES. The main characters and their interactions are so bland now. Overall, Reload has added extra content while taking away or minimizing the reason (story/characters) people wanted a Persona 3 remake to begin with.

An amazing remake of Persona 3. The visuals are top notch and the gameplay has been improved compared both to FES and Portable. It lacks the answer for now however. FEMC isn't a likely return at all even as dlc.

this was the first persona game for me, but the portable version, this remake its perfect, in some areas it a little bored and repetitive, but in the end its a great game and has a great history too. it doesnt have the answer from ps2, it is a extra dlc

A great, polished, literally shiny remake of Persona 3. Gives access to both the PS4 and PS5 versions, and allows a network save to transfer between them if you want to easily get trophies for both.

It's a remake of my favorite entry in the Persona series, and it doesnt disappoint. Anyone who loves Persona 3 needs to play this game.

While it does not include the FemMC route from P3P, Persona 3 Reload is still the best way to experience P3.

It was a great persona game. It has over 90 hours of gameplay and kept me entertained for hours.

Started playing it immediately because I loved Persona 5 and this one didn't disappoint.

Its a big updated version of Persona 3. If you loved P3 than you will love this Remake. Combat and everything has been improved also.

Some clown at Best Buy thinks that Saints Row the Third is the same game as this and sent me that instead of Persona 3 Reload. I would've loved to get the game at the store... but Best Buy is getting rid of their ps4 section in stores, so ordering was the only option. I ended up getting the game from Amazon. The shipping was faster and they sent me the right game. The game is great would recommend.
