Persona series is my favorite JRPG series. I have spent a lot of playing Persona 5 the original, with the changes coming in to Royal, it is become more user friendly and the game is very well balanced, or even easier. Great changes all around and it will be absolutely a blast for anyone who hasn't played the game before.

Huge fan of the series. Highly recommend this game, already sunk over 35+ hrs. Also easy buy from Best Buy during COVID-19 quarantine. Pre-ordered it two weeks in advance, received a $10 gift card and free shipping. The game arrived on my doorstep on release day in the afternoon. Also came in a beautiful steel case.

Persona 5 was already an incredible game, but the Royal version is better in every way. Improved battle mechanics, new characters, and little changes all over the place! This definitely isn't like slogging through a new game plus of the original - it's a whole new and completely worthwhile experience!

Being a huge fan of the first version of this game when I read they were adding more I knew I had to check it out. The add-on’s are meaningful and cannot be considered filler. It you like JRPGs you owe it to yourself to play this game. Compelling characters and events make the game a must play.

I loved the original persona 5 and nearly 100%ed it on my first playthrough. This feels like a completely new game. The small changes in dungeons and the inclusion of new confidants have added enough variety that it still feels fresh and I still get to enjoy what I loved about the first game.

I played the original game and loved it. I was excited for this version for the new content. I waited to replay until I got this version. The new content, admittedly, is somewhat hit or miss. Still, I found it very enjoyable. Extra content on an amazing game just makes it somehow better.

Especially if you never played the original version, this is an amazing RPG and definitely one to give a try if you any passing interest in turn-based RPGs or anime. The additions are significant enough that I think it's worth it to play again even if you have played the original.

This is an amazing game and I’m so glad I was able to get it when I did. I did get the collectors edition so I came with a nice steel case. This is a wonderful role playing game that provide lots of fun for hours on end. Give it a try—You won’t be disappointed

If you aren't a fan of turn based games or persona, or if you've played persona 5 but weren't wild about it this won't make you change your mind. However if you've never played the original or if you have and were a big fan there's more than enough here to warrent playing through it.

Excellent improment over the original edition from 2016. The extra content can get you over 110 hours of gameplay. Some mechanics, like the Tartarous dungeon has been improved a lot. There is also a new character in this game and a new story after the game ends.

Even if you’ve played Persona 5, the added story elements make this version worth playing. Without spoiling anything, the original Persona 5 comes to an abrupt end; Royal has a substantial epilogue that wraps up the story in a more satisfying manner.
