Soooo worth it! Recommend to any who loves the persona series!

Not only one of the best games I've played on the PS4, but one of the best games I've ever played. Very engaging story with memorable characters. Definite recommendation for people looking for a story-based game with strategy turn based fighting.

This game right here....hits all targets. Story,battle system,entertainment,replayability,graphics,variety. This game has it all. Best Buy had my copy promptly. PLUS the Best Buy bonus on certain releases!!! Thumbs up.Those other guys give you nothing plus they almost never had the preorder bonuses.

This is one of the most engaging games I've ever played, and has one of the strongest video game osts out there. Seeing new stuff in the story is a delight, and is worth it for newcomers and returning players from the original. owo

I have played the original version of this game and was skeptical of a new version but holy cow! This is like a brand new game. It’s so polished and improved in so many ways. There are so many more new things to do and new story angles that I highly highly recommend this to any persona fans.

If you did not play Persona 5 when it first came out in 2017, then you are in luck. Persona 5 Royal easily adds exciting new content and quality of life improvements that makes one of the best games ever to release even better. If you enjoy turn based JRPGs, then this is the game for you.

The original Persona 5 was already an amazing game that was quite packed with stuff and a very long story. Royal adds not only to the story but also more/new mechanics and side things to do. If you're wanting to give P5 a try, I would say buy Royal 100% over the original.

This game is an amazing entry point for any gamer not familiar fo the serie. It’s full to the brim with amazing content. The game will take 100+ hours to beat. Their are multiple ends and your choice actually matter. Overall this game was excellent and the combat was flawless.

This is easily one of the best games I've ever played, if not *the* best. If you played the original Persona 5, don't worry that this will be more of the same--there is so much more content present in Royal, enough for 150 hours of gameplay easily!

I loved Persona 5 and spent a good 130 hours on it. Persona 5 Royal is mostly the same with some added content and I spent another 160 hours or so on it. I love the characters and music and it's become one of my favorite games.

This game looks incredible with it's super stylized UI and animations. The combat is smooth and fun. The story is enthralling and the characters you meet along the way are amazing. It's a must play for anyone that likes JRPGs.

Persona 5 has so much to offer that will keep you busy for a long time & they added even more content with this release that makes an already great game even better!It is definitely a title you must own if you have a PS4 to play it on!

I played this game and beat it when it first came out. When they promoted this extended version I knew I had to have it. After playing it for a few weeks I honestly believe it was worth the money to get this version of the game.

I hate JRPGs. I hate turn-based combat. I hate grinding for EXP. I hate high-school Anime. I hate day-to-day life sims. I hate relationship sims. I hate corny nonsense. I don’t particularly care for Pokémon. Finally, I thought “Inception” was a mediocre film that got hype from Christopher Nolan’s creepy fan base for pointless reasons. This game is all of those things, and I should by all intents and purposes hate it. Despite all that, this game is now my favorite on PS4; and it’s in the running for my top 5 favorite games overall. Somehow, everything coalesces in an amazing way and I love everything about it. At 100-120 hours it’s perfect for the quarantine that we’re stuck in. Not to mention, it has one of the best soundtracks and the slickest UI I’ve ever seen in a game. Seriously, I never thought I’d be gushing over a UI, but there you have it. I don’t want to give away too much about the story so I’ll stop there. Now, you of course may have a different experience. But take it from a guy who can’t stand JRPGs, this game is great. But be warned, you will be angry at a cat for telling you to go to sleep.

I owned Persona 5 and was playing it when Royal came out. I bought Royal and it's even better than the original. They tweaked a lot of things that made it less grindy and added a lot of features. Good changes in my opinion.

I loved everything this game had to offer, there are so many new features, both in story and in gameplay, that even if you owned vanilla Persona 5 like myself, you will still enjoy a second round with Persona 5 Royal.

this release deluxe edition added enough new content to justify diving into the 100hr game experience again. the entire "third act" was lengthy, and the new quality of life gameplay changes are refreshing

The original Persona 5 already had so much to offer, and this one offers even more! There's so much more gameplay and extra story that this version of Persona 5 is perfect for returning players and newcomers alike.

130+ hours of beautiful content, and fresh and fun dialogue. Battles are engaging and I never pass up the opportunity to defeat an enemy. Soundtrack is addictive to listen to. You can’t miss this PS4 exclusive!!

I’m the kind of gamer that enjoys JRPGs. This game hits every single box imaginable! I have played the original Persona 5 and I fell in LOVE with the game! I later heard that Persona 5 Royal was coming g out and saw there have been MASSIVE upgrades from the original. Without going too much into it, the game fixes just about everything that was wrong in the original game. Story wise it’s about the same aside from the added 3rd semester. Tons of improvements, like Mementos, Velvet Room, Dungeons, Leveling, all DLCs from Persona 5 are free on Persona 5 Royal. Even if you have played Persona 5. There’s enough of a difference in this version to make it worth buying again.
