This addition to the Persona series is a must play, even if having played the previous version there is enough content that deems it worth replaying. If someone is on the fence about and you are a fan of JRPGs then don't miss out on this one.

The best JRPG of all time just got that much better. Awesome steelbook to boot! Time to steal some hearts! This game holds one of the best video game story experiences of a lifetime!

Overall this game isn’t all that different from the original story wise, but the new features are nice, as well as new characters. But some cool content is locked behind DLC. But overall a pretty good game I find myself coming back to.

First introduction into the persona series for me but I must say that this has already climbed the charts of all time favorite games for me and I am not even done! Lots of fun play time. If you like JRPGs then you are gonna love this.

My daughter became a huge fan of this series after playing through P5, and she couldn't wait for P5 Royal. She hasn't completed this one yet (the first one took well over 120 hours), but she is loving what she's experiencing so far.

Fun game after the first 30 hours. Combat is fun and story is enjoyable but you'll need to pump series hours into it for it to get really good.

Played and loved the original Persona 5, and I am pleasantly surprised that they were able to improve what was already a great game with meaningful changes. A must-play.

I played through Persona 5 twice and got this one when I saw all of the changes they were making. It's definitely worth the buy, whether you've played through the original or not. I still have many, many hours of play left.

As a fan of the original Persona 5, I really enjoyed revisiting the characters and story in Royal. The new mechanics add a fun twist and I'm liking the new characters. If you liked the original it's definitely worth buying.

No question the best RPG released this gen. Graphics are definitely at least one gen behind but there hasn't been a more addicting game this gen. Absolute must-play.

Absolutely one of the best games of the generation. If you love anime and JRPGs, you will not regret playing this game. There is a ton of content and the characters are memorable long after beating it.

Persona 5 royal is the best JRPG of this generation in my opinion. The localization team did a great job and the UI is also highly customized for English. It has a very easy platinum trophy as well.

Persona 5 Royal is a wonderful "retelling" of Persona 5. It has new content and expounds upon the original game in a lot of ways. One would pick this up if they loved Persona 5, or if they never got to experience it.

There are quality tweaks and a vast amount of content that this no simple rerelease. Your getting a lot of gaming for your money. If you haven’t played the original or coming back to it; Royal is a befitting name.

If you are new to the Persona franchise or haven’t played Persona 5 specifically, it’s better to play Royal than the GOTY $20 edition. It’s enhanced with more story and flashier visuals that compliment the game.

I thought it would be a waste; like DLC that could have just been downloaded. Boy was I wrong. They added so many new features and fixed some things from the original. New spin makes it worthy of a playthrough!

One of the greatest JRPGs of this generation. Kasumi Yoshizawa is the greatest character and Goro Akechi is one cool guy. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys JRPGs, psychology, and jazzy music.

More content, new characters, and better battle additions! I loved the original, but this one made it more fun! I've finished it three times, and I'll never get bored of how amazingly fun this game is!

i was so happy to get this after falling in love with persona 5 vanilla!! already on my 3rd gameplay for persona 5 royale and im super happy with it. Totally worth it for all the extra added content :-)

It took a great game and made it even better. I'm not sure if it's worth buying it again at full price if you already played the original, but if you haven't played the original play this one instead.
