The game itself is phenomenal, but all the stuff that comes with the limited edition make it even better! The mask is perfectly replicated and you can wear it or display it! The cd has the new songs from the game on it and the art book is great! The steel-book case and theme you get for the PS4 is one of my favorites too! The box art for the limited edition is fantastic as you can see with the picture I uploaded. I’m definitely happy that I bought this, because it’s one of the best, if not the best, limited editions I’ve ever received!

The extras that come with the game are great. The CD has the new tracks not on the original OST. The art book and mask are fantastic!

I played P5R as my second play through of Persona 5 and I love it so much! P5R is polished beautifully with a new extended ending. It’s great to have an enjoyable 175 hours journey with my favorite characters again!

It's Persona. Life simulation mixed with JRPG and pokemon elements. If thats not your thing, yeah might not be for you. If it is, strap in, steal some hearts, and crank the volume to 11 because the music is BANGING.

Persona 5 Royal is the epitome of the perfect video game, and by far the best JRPG ever made. Story, character, gameplay, style, music, and length are all incredible. Be prepared to take a 200 hour adventure with the Phantom Thieves and grow close to the characters and story, one in which teenagers who steal the hearts of villains act to save Japan and the world by exploring the Metaverse, a supernatural realm of peoples' cognitions. The new content adds a streamlined feel to the full game and the new semester is fantastically done, adding new characters you will empathize with and root for until the very end. It adds extra depth to existing characters as well. I highly recommend this game to all JRPG fans and anyone who owns a Playstation 4. It is my favorite game of all time.

This version of the game is a must own for any PS4 owner. The extras are nice bonuses as well.

The real star of the show here is the wearable Joker Mask, which comes with a nice enough display stand. The eye hole are a little too far apart, but if you've ever seen a Persona character, its not too surprising. You can see out of it fine, you just look a little derpy. The Steelbook is awesome, the artbook is big and has a LOT of pages. The CD, well is a CD and doesn't have too many tracks on it. The box it comes in is really cool too. Overall love it. Oh yeah and the game is just a better, longer version of Persona 5, which is amazing and you should play.

As a massive fan of the original game, this was always going to be a day one purchase for me. In addition to the new content, the game has been polished to a mirror sheen, with loading times drastically reduced from the original, particularly in palaces where loading is now almost instant. Morgana also allows you to do a little more than last time. The new characters are interesting and one of them feels like an organic addition that people who never played the original might think they were part of that game as well, hit the other feels a little forced. That problem disappears with the new semester portion, which is substantive enough for me to recommend this game to even casual fans of the original release. The devs managed to deliver fan service without ultimately compromising the story of the original, which is impressive. The packaging and physical collectables are not on the same level of the original games collector's edition but still worth it for big fans.

If you are a fan of traditional turn based Japanese Role Playing Games (JRPG) then you need to check out Persona 5 Royal. Gloriously animated, engaging (for a turn based) gameplay mechanics, and style for days. This game is so very Japanese, so if you are not a fan of Japanese games, style, or culture you need not check this game out. The Phantom Thieves Edition, if you can get your hands on it, is definitely for fans of the franchise or the art. If you aren't a fan, then just pick up the basic version of the game... or if you are feeling really cheap, go with the first version of the game. Just know that, while the games are essentially the same, there is enough new content in Royal that can justify a re-buy or, if you've never played it before, you should start here instead.

Persona 5 Royal Phantom Thieves Edition is the Ultimate Version of Persona 5, included is more content a steel book, mask and more, this version is highly sought after and now very rare. Worth having in any collection.

Comes in a somewhat big box (with slipcover), with cool decorations and all. Steelbook has a slipcover, and the PS4 download code was redeemable. But I had a difficult time taking the disc out of the case, it wouldn't budge and I felt that any more force would break the disc in two. Aside from that, the artbook is neat albeit a bit small. The mask is gorgeous, and comes with a stand for displaying. There is a CD with select songs, but it does not include the Disc 2 that the Japanese special edition received. Besides this minor exclusion, it is still a great package for the price of $90. Anything higher, in my opinion, is not worth spending your money for.

Improves the original story/gameplay extensively. New content is all fantastic and the added music is killer among all the other small improvements. This is Persona at it's absolute best.

I had avoided playing this game the first time it was released, only because I knew it was long and I didn't have the time to dedicate to playing it. This arrived right at the beginning of the quarantine, so I figured it would be the perfect time to try it. Boy was I surprised. This game is so well done. From the music to the gameplay. The story is fantastic, especially this Royal version that adds more content and new endings. This game is very very long though. I only played the main game, no side quests really, and I finished the entire story in 120 hours. But you really need to experience the whole thing to have a good appreciation for it.

This game boasts an absolutely wonderful story, gameplay, and breadth of characters to interact with. The interaction with the characters is exceptionally great, you develop deep bonds with each character and they are unique to the story sharing their versions of hardships they been aligned within their past, present, and future. It's a story that compels you to think about the world we live in. Definitely try it out when you have a chance.

Love this game. Tried to hold off on buying this since I had already played the 1st version. Tbh, I don't think anything could've stopped me. You got your same story, gameplay, and romance dating sim, just with a some extras sprinkled about. The extras for this edition are cute and aesthetically pleasing. Currently got the mask as a paperweight at work.

Persona 5 Royal is a Definite version of Persona 5. It has a new semester, new confidants and characters. There's also new battle techniques that are amazing! You can increase your battle/skill strength through interacting with your team members at various in-game locations (like Darts in Kichijoji). There are many new features for you to use! Pick up this game today!

This is one of the greatest collectors edition's I've seen for the price. The mask is an amazing display peice and can even be worn! The artbook is great and the steelbook case is beautiful. Plus it comes with a theme for your PS4! My only complaint is that the CD is lacking in songs as it only includes 10 songs. Highly recommend this too those that loved persona 5.
