Good game, great story, wonderful graphics and a ton of fun to play!

Persona 5 Royal Phantom Thieves Edition was a great buy. It has many great bonuses inside, and are all high quality. I've already put in multiple hours into Royal, and I love it so much already. The tweaks and story they've added definitely make this worth coming back to play Persona 5 again.

Did you enjoy Persona 5 in its original form? I did, it was my game of the year for 2017. This is the same game but with extra content and a definitive ending. I would go into details but who honestly wants spoilers in their reviews? The physical goodies included with the Phantom Thieves Edition are quite impressive and justified the extra cost.

The only issue with this game is it starts becoming too easy. Most confidents give abilities that grant large advantages. With thenew confidents added in this version as well as the other combat changes. It makes utility snowball faster than difficulty can keep up. In short, may be better to start on hard if you are a veteran of turn based RPGs

I loved playing the original Persona 5 and this just punches it into overdrive and you get more content come on its a win win if you loved it the 1st time around or if this is your 1st time and you love jrpgs you'll still love the best JRPG ever! Be prepared to let this game take over your life so have a lot of time on your hands!

The Royal edition is a worthy investment for fans of the original Persona 5 vanilla game. It adds a whole new experience and rewrites how the narrative plays out. A new ending! Two new characters to invest your time into! New palace! The Royal experience is the definitive edition. The way to play.

Phantom Thieves edition adds a lot of cool bonuses to the already amazing Persona 5 experience. I've spent over a hundred hours in vanilla P5 maxing out stuff, and royal just adds a whole bunch of content that easily takes the game to 100 hours on the first playthrough. Also the new final battle is just epic.

Persona 5 Royal is an updated version of the original game. With new characters and a new palace. Not to mention more mechanics that help with the game go smoother. It's still fantastic, the music is still amazing. If you haven't played the original, you should consider getting this as you won't miss out on much from the original.

The game is a masterclass RPG stunner, the absolute pinnacle of the genre destined to be in future PS4 Top 5 Games lists until the end of time. The special edition though is wonderful and extensive. The oversized box is packed with extras, and Atlus gives the fans something really special to commemorate this great game.

One of my favorite games of all time. Persona 5 Royal is an improved version of the original Persona 5 game (although, there are some differences that made the vanilla version just as fun too)! The collectibles that came with the game only made this editions so much better.

Materialis that came inside was amazing the art book, soundtrack, and box was truly amazing, First time getti go to the series and enjoy the whole thing. The fight and activities are well and simple and wish all dlc would move been included but Atlus did an amazing job and hope to play years to come, Thank you!!!

persona 5 royal is a great game on its own and i recommend it to anyone who likes rpgs or turnbase combat. if you played the original the improvements will be incremental early on. you'll see hints of it but it mostly plays out the same as the first. the biggest changes appear toward the end of the game. For newbies i'll warn the talking can drag on at times and the down time between dungeons can feel like a chore on your first play through as you have to meet certain stats to improve your relationships with your teammates. But the characters are pretty fun an likeable. Most are presented as unfriendly at first but as you progress your relation can change. The combat can seem simple at first and some enemies can feel overwhelming until you learn how to take advantage of weaknesses and status ailments. its very satisfying to come into a fight with low health and sp, facing a strong enemy just to mop the floor with them with your strategy. i haven't finish this version yet but the ending for the original was very epic and satisfying. Also the metal case is gorgeous.

Persona 5 Royal is a great expansion to the original persona 5 if anyone loves a great story with great characters and awesome game mechanics than either get the original persona 5 if you’re new to the persona series or if you’ve played the original and love I highly recommend Persona 5 Royal

After spending 120+ hours on Persona 5, I was excited for the updated Persona 5 Royal edition. So farz everything has exceeded my expectations. Between the new abilities, many quality of life improvements, and an update and expanded soundtrack, Persona 5 R is a worthy addition to this series.

As a fan of the first game this special phantom thieves edition is just fantastic. The extras are great and it isn't much more expensive than the normal edition of the game. The game itself is as good as the original so far, with a lot of interesting adjustments that I am still discovering.

Words can not describe how happy I was getting this. The mask looks awesome and you can wear it. The art work is amazing and of course the game is a master piece (in my opinion) for those who have played this knows it, but for those who haven't...well...let's say you'll never see it coming ;3

Great ads , extended play more experiences that should have been in it day one . This is not a must for purchasers from the first release but it's a steal your heart if your new to this edition and everything is packed in for you . We bought this just because we collect persona 5 stuff .

They added a ton of stuff to this game. New characters, confidants, and side-content. I love the Phantom Thieves Swag that’s in the box. My favorites being the mask and steelbook. I’m only up to May in the game, but I’ve already had a good time going back through the story again.

Persona 5 was already one of my favorite JRPGs but Royal easily takes over from its original version, with great gameplay balances to a variety of new content, this game will be great for both older fans and newer fans who want to experience a Persona game for themselves.
