This is a perfect game for any type of gamer. Anime fans, non-anime fans, JRPG fans, and non-JRPG fans. There is a little bit of something in this game for everyone. If you are looking for essential PS4 games, this is a definite.

You can make the case for various games in the SMT/Persona series as being the best or the most robust. But, in a vacuum, Persona 5 Royal is just anomalously time killing and stimulating. One of the best games ever made.

Just received the game in mail. Best Buy shipped the game quickly and free shipping is awesome. The persona 5 royal is a fun and lengthy game. Glad I got on the sale. It will make a great Christmas gift too.

I received the game on time, but the cd wasn’t securely in place inside the case and there wasn’t a booklet for the game inside...

It's got weird/pervy quirks, but if you avoid those (or I guess are into them) then it's a gem.

Bought this because of a friends option of this being a good game I should try he was surely mistaken this is a amazing game and I am shamed that I haven’t played this game or anything form this series sooner the story is amazing, the combat is the best I’ve seen in a turn base JRPG in a while, and exploration that’s isn’t tedious or boring the game take a bit to get going but once it’s going it’s a train ride of fun.

Bought this for myself and I’ve been playing it nonstop. The game is just more polished persona 5 with a lot of content for veteran players to enjoy. It’s a good buy if you haven’t played persona before.

Persona 5 Royal is a fantastic game, even if you have already played the original Persona 5. They really added a lot of new content that is worth it, especially if you can find it on sale.

I already played t he original P5 but when the lockdown started I needed a meaty JRPG to sink my teeth into and this is a great one to replay especially when you're staying home for a long time.

This game is a masterpiece! Even if you've played the original, you need to play this version. A lot of the annoying things have become fun. There's more story, and more characters. 10/10.

Persona 5 Royal is one of the greatest games ever made. Intriguing battle system, awesome story, incredible character development. This game is a must have for all video game fans.

Absolutely excellent. If you’ve played the original release then this is a great excuse to come back and experience it all over again, and if you haven’t then this is a great excuse to play it for the first time. This is an absolutely excellent turn based rpg compiled with a great and intriguing story. Definitely one of Atlus’ most polished games from the Shin Megami Tensei series by far.

Great story to the persona franchise. With additional content not in the original adds to the experience. Highly recommend if new to series or persona veteran.

I am having a ton of fun with this game. It’s ridiculous how I procrastinate on real school with a video game in which a sizable chunk of the gameplay is going to school. I typically dislike RPGs but they managed to make tedious activities feel interesting via good writing, solid art design, and a masterful soundtrack. Even the turn based combat is fun, and that’s saying something.

I loved the original P5, and I love that they included a nice little twist to this one, so playing again wouldn’t feel so lackluster. Seriously worth a buy

Great game, with game play improvements from Persona 5 and additional story + characters. If you haven't played Persona 5, I would say buy this version instead. If you've already played P5, it might not be worth the additional money spent to get the extra content. I bought it because I like Persona.
