Story line is intriguing and there are lots of ways to develop your characters so that keeps it interesting.

Persona 5: Royal brings a nice addition to its original story, that any fan of a good JRPG will love.

Better than the original with new content, lots of hours of additional gameplay, and a recon of the original Persona 5 story. This one may seem as the "definitive edition" but it's more than just some extra DLC. You won't regret it, even if you've played and beat the original

I am usually not a fan of JRPGs but this game is designed so beautifully that after only 15 minutes of gameplay I was hooked onto the storyline. Great game with an enormous amount of content (although please do not try to fully complete this game for your own sanity's sake)

One of the best games ever made. I like the art style, character development and the story of the game. I only played the original P5. This royal version adds extra story and a new character. I would say definitely buy it if you haven’t played it.

Thoroughly entertaining title that oozes with style. If you liked other games in the series you'll love this one. Note that if you own the original version, this newer version may not be worth reinvesting. But if you don't own it yet go for this version.

Do you like free time? Then don't play this game. It's like 120 hours long. The story is great, the battle system is great, but I'm not a fan of the confidant system or the "high school simulator". But the story and gameplay are a lot of fun.

Having played the original Persona 5 to completion, I can tell you this is a great buy for both newcomers and veterans of the series. For newcomers, it's worth buying at msrp, for all the content alone. The original was an amazing game, and this version is that, plus more content on top. If you have already played P5, I would recommend getting this on sale. I picked it up for $20 for Black Friday and it is definitely worth it at that price. The game is still great, but I do not think it warrants paying full retail for basically Persona 5 + a huge content update.
