A great step up from the original P5, This version has a whole new semester and more story/characters. The graphics pop on ps4 pro and the rock/paper/scissors combat flows nicely. Great writing and character arcs. One of the best jrpgs ever!

If you like JRPGs, this is a must. Long but lots of fun with a good story

Was very impressed by this game. I played the original but this feels like a completely new game! Game play and story are amazing and the new character is great as well. Game is worth playing if you enjoyed the original.

A must have for any JRPG fan. Buy this version over the vanilla one

I was literally addicted to this game. This is the very first turn based game that I’ve ever played (not counting Pokémon because I’ve only played the demo lol) and I was impressed by how engrossing it was as well as the depth of the combat. You’re absolutely going to fall in love with the characters! The story is absolutely riveting as well. The setting of Japan is perfect as I’ve always wanted to travel there and the game taught me so much about the culture and history (yes you will learn a lot in class and in free time mode). I usually play games like God of War, Sekiro, Borderlands, Red dead, GTA, so that should give you an idea of whether you should play it or not.

It's a good game and great deal for $20 for 90+ hours of content.

This game was great before but has been made even better with all the new enhancements in P5R. They even added a bunch of new content and it really adds to the story. This is a must play for any JRPG fan.

P5R is a prefect rpg game with a fun system of mechanics, a long but great story and characters, and improvements from the original P5 that make it the essential complete package for any fans of the genre

First time playing a jrpg in awhile... It has a very slow start and kinda trippy, especially if you've never played a persona game.. I'd didnt know what to expect. But I'm hooked!!! After learning all the mechanics

Fantastic game that is a must play for any RPG fans. This game does a great job of blending narrative and gameplay, all while keeping its signature stylized look. The soundtrack is awesome too, a must-play.

This is an enhance version of the already very good Persona 5. This version adds MANY quality of life and smaller additions to the game and one large story addition in the form of a third semester which is an alternate ending to the game with a few new characters. All the praise for the original applies to this game. And if you have already played the original (like I did) it's still worth it to play through royal if you liked the original. This game is very long and it will take you 100 hours to complete a regular playthrough. Personally I preferred the wrap up of the original because some of the new story content feels very tacked on. My favorite additions where those that enhanced the original story.

What can I say about this game that will convince you to buy this right now? This game is an instant classic, a phrase I do not use often. From head to toe this game is dripping in style. a great cast of characters and engaging story in the classic Persona style. If you played this game before you know I am right. If you have never played a Persona game you owe it to yourself to give this one a shot. It may seem a little overwhelming at first, but just relax and enjoy the ride for what it is. The game isn't very "action heavy" it is an RPG in every sense. So strap in and enjoy the ride. Take part in what will be looked back as a crowning achievement in video game history!

The best version of one of the best games ever made

Was wanting to try this so bad. My PS4 died around the time it came out. Now that I got a PS5 I’m able to play it!! And it’s great! Art style, characters, and gameplay are amazing!
