Make no mistake, this is as barebones as ATLAS could get. 60fps and higher resolution is nice, but the lazy dumping of DLC items on you (including a large sum of starting money and healing items) and lack of other enhanced features is a bit disappointing. However, this is a great value if you've never played the game (maybe wait for a sale though).

As someone who has played both the original persona 5 and persona 5 royal on PS4, this game is just as good as I remembered. With the new silky smooth frame rate and sharpened visuals, alongside the entire pantheon of dlc, this is the definitive way to play the game on consoles. I do, however, have one complaint. The PS5 version of the game doesn't let you transfer your save files from your PS4 version of the game, meaning you are forced to start from a completely new save. Any new game plus profile you have progress in is unable to transfer, meaning you have to start from scratch. This was devastating for me to discover, and a little frustrating since the only differences between this version and the ps4 version is higher frame rates and crisper visuals. They are the exact same game. It should not be a arduous task to set up a way for PS4 persona 5 royal files to be converted to PS5 persona 5 royal files. That is the only reason this version of the game is not getting 5 stars from me.

Easily one of the best JRPG of all time and a total must play for any fans of the genre.

For ps4 edition owners, I'd steer clear from the full price ps5 game unless its on sale as the only difference is 60fps and included royal dlc.

While I’m sure many people who have a PS5 and are a fan of Persona 5 Royal have the PS4 version already, I will say the PS5 version is a worthwhile purchase if you’re looking to replay the game and are looking for a smoother 60 fps gameplay experience (no 120 fps support unfortunately but is not a deal breaker). I bought this port at the time on sale for $39.99 and is well worth the price for what you’re getting if you can get the game at this price for the PS5.

Persona 5 Royal is a must-play on the PS5. The game runs so smooth and looks so great.

I've played through the original Persona 5 and Royal and never get tired of the story and mechanics

Fun game with great characters and the comabat is satisfying

I played the heck out of Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal when it came out on PS4, when they made the port over to PS5 I thought it was just another cash grab… They redid the visuals to scale up to 4K AND to run 60FPS and it runs like BUTTER. It’s such a treat to the eyes. There really isn’t anything additional content wise but I didn’t mind. Definitely pick it up if you see it on sale!

This game is the complete package when it comes to Persona 5 releases. If you haven't bought Persona 5 Royal for PlayStation 4 then this one will be great for you. PlayStation 5 version includes all the DLC so this version will not display. Also runs at 60fps

Cool RPG game, it has an interesting story line, I like it overall

Seamlessly flawless. Persona Five is by far the best entry into the series. Student during the day, anti hero during the night. The blend the story draws was unique and a treat for me. If you’re into dark drama stories, this is the one for you. 11/10 recommend

Best story of any game in years. Great replayability

Gameplay is on point, story is amazing, and the pacing is brilliant. And this is the complete edition - so this includes the DLC and all revisions they've made to the original. The version on PS+ is not the royal edition. Definitely a great buy!

This game is awesome. Everyone needs to play this at least once.
