Persona 5 is an AMAZING and very well developed game. With its immersive story and unique gameplay, you will not want to put your controller down even for a second. It incorporates a life simulator into the JRPG concept, which is simply brilliant. To top it off, it has an incredible soundtrack that will lure you into the game even further. This is one of the best games I've played in a very long time, I highly recommend this masterpiece to every PS4 owner.

Never played a single game in the Persona series before this one, but after having finished Persona 5, I really want to play the other games in the series. The soundtrack for this game is amazing, gameplay is like your traditional turn based combat system and that's something I love. The characters are all lovable except for maybe the cat. Story is interesting but a little too long for my liking but not so much that it ruined the game for.

As long as you know what you're getting into, this is an absolutely top notch JRPG. It comes with all the baggage, good and bad, that that genre implies, but it really stands among the best of the genre. This was my first Persona game, and I hadn't really played any JRPGs since the SNES days, but I got completely lost in this game's world and story. The turn-based combat system has quite a bit of depth, but it did get a little stale as the game went on—I spent over 120 hours with this game. But overall, an amazing experience, and highly recommended if you know what you're getting into.

Great gameplay, story, visuals and music. Unfortunately, this game has pacing issues where the gameplay is interrupted for no good reason which can be irritating

This is the best JRPG not only of this generation but of all time. It has deep and interesting characters. The persona system is very addicting, and you could do a lot more outside combat.

Maybe the best JRPG ever, and maybe the most stylistic game ever as well. The game is well paced and fun for the entire 100+ hour playthrough, which is astonishing. Takes one of the most beloved and iconic JRPG series and improves upon it in every way. Alternates between your high school / social experience and going into dungeons. Quirky, amazing, and a game everyone should experience.

Persona 5 is phenomenal. I spent 140 hours in this game and loved every second. The characters, the story, the combat, the environment, the all around amazing aesthetic... it's all so freaking fantastic. I can't possibly recommend this game enough. If you don't hate yourself, please, for the love of all that is holy and sacred in this world, buy this game.

If you're into JRPGs, this is definitely a game worth looking into. Solid mechanics, and traditional JRPG elements, mixed with a unique art style that makes the game look like a Graphic Novel, and memorable unique music. My only complaint is that sometimes the game pacing feels a bit slow and some of dialog drags on a bit. There have been times where I already understand the plot elements, but the game insists on constantly repeating and explaining them over and over. Besides that, I love the uniqueness, without being different just to be different.

Good game. Good graphic and sound game. Long game play.

This game is SO much fun, plus I really love turn based RPG's. Highly recommended!

If you are a fan of turn based RPGs then look no further than Persona 5. Gameplay is fun, story and characters have depth and the visual art style is unrivaled. A must have for any RPG fan.

I would probably give it 8 out of 10. I really enjoyed the music and gameplay, but the storyline felt subpar compared to that of persona 4.

I read all of the great reviews and decided to pull the trigger on this when it went on sale. After about 20 hours in I can say I'm immensely disappointed. This game is BORING. The palace dungeons are fun to an extent, but mainly because they pull you out of the main game world which sucks. There, you're forced to budget your time because it's limited and unless you're a Japanophile it's very dull. If you're into HOURS of dialogue and lame Japanese High School Soap Operas this is for you. Most overrated game of the year.

These kinds of games I've never been my thing but after playing it I realize how wrong I was it is super fun and made for mature Gamers so it's not childish like many would assume also the fact that it allows you to do things other games don't makes it a unique experience

I never played a persona game before, so naturally I didn't know what to expect since it was recommended to me by a friend. Boy was I surprised the amount of things you can do in this game is amazing! I'm barely 30hrs in and still enjoying this game. I definitely recommend 10/10!!

What a game! I love the music and characters so much! One more of the unique and amazing things about Persona 5 is how much empathy the writers have for the main characters. The side quests are definitely worth doing!

I don't normally like JRPGs, but I couldn't resist the mature and empathetic subject matter of this game, nor its standing as one of the best RPGs on PS4 or any platform. Suffice to say, I wasn't disappointed.
