While I wasn't the biggest turn based RPG guy, I was willing to give Persona 5 an honest chance. The animation style called out to me right away. I had never played a Persona game before, but you can definitely jump into this knowing nothing. Prepare to spend hours at a time on this game. It's long but worth it.

Stylish, engrossing 100 hours of gameplay. Stunner.

Got my Christmas list from my sons teenage stepsister. It contained earbuds and about 10 games. Bought her this and glad I did. On Christmas after opening most of her gifts, clothes etc, she finally got to it and smiled and said " this is what I was hoping for " she enjoys playing it.

If JRPGs are your thing then you will have a blast. Otherwise its something that you can have fun with but not be too blown away by.

I am not a big JRPG fan but this game has won me over. The more I play the more I want to keep playing. Great story and characters.

Its really good . It has a unique type of game play to it. Combat that is turned based, unique Anime graphics, decent story line.

this is a Japanese anime game. my son did not want me to get it for him but he loves it. It's like an international version of grand theft auto. the game completely submerges you into a new world. if you enjoy that type of experience this game is a must-have.

Worth getting if you love this style of games or love long games.

I knew nothing about Persona prior to this game, but this game surprised me with its deep rpg systems and great combat.

This was my first experience with Persona and I have to say it did not disappoint. Great game, I hope the series continues.

Just understand I for the most part hate goofy/cutesy anime and not a huge fan of JRPGs but the persona one got me hooked on ps1. Then many years later after I grew bored of all the online fps and mobas, etc. I went back to the series and played Persona 4 golden. Persona 5 came years later and still a great series, I will wait a few years to compare them as there is so much nostalgia from P4G but just from the character design I know I will end up revisiting this a few more times to run through the story.

Having fun so far, but to be honest I couldn’t help but cringe at the english voice acting right from the start so i switched it to Japanese after downloading the dlc immediately less than 10min into the game.

It's a good game with a lot of grinding, but a good experience. Great graphics, good story.

Probably the best JRPG you can find in 2017. You will sink a LOT of hours into this. The 'tutorial' alone is like 30 hours long.
