Interesting world, boring gameplay

Top notch JRPG

It comes with all the baggage, good and bad, that that genre implies, but it really stands among the best of the genre. This was my first Persona game, and I hadn't really played any JRPGs since the SNES days, but I got completely lost in this game's world and story. The turn-based combat system has quite a bit of depth, but it did get a little stale as the game went on—I spent over 120 hours with this game. But overall, an amazing experience, and highly recommended if you know what you're getting into.
